We absolutely loved this video! ❤ You are so wonderful when you are loving what you are doing! Never pressure yourself to go on adventures you think “we” want to see. Go on adventures that you want to go on. Camp or day hike, it makes no difference! The Hazey we love is the one who is being true to himself and doing what is right for you. Thank you so much for sharing with us! Fabulous!

I used to work at seven sisters country park. It’s definitely best to stay away from the edge of chalk cliff. Erosion and cliff falls are very common.

Can I ask a question? I’m really afraid of heights and I’m not sure about the path. Should I try to make an attempt or it would be too scary?
@MadeByMuel
@MadeByMuel 5 күн бұрын
@ there is plenty of space to walk safely away from the edge and enjoy the walk and the views. I couldn’t comment on how scary you might find it but it’s my opinion that it is a perfectly safe and pleasant walk. All be it steep in some places.

Congratulations to Fern. Lovely day hike, thank you for taking us along. I'm female, but can't get near the edge of a cliff; there's a part of my brain that "knows" I can fly, and I know damned well I can't. I wonder if it's something in our DNA, something we "remember". Will be happy to see Joey in an upcoming video; would love to see you colab with Simon, a Bloke in the Woods. Take care, be well

We have hiked from Seaford to Eastbourne and vice versa. The route you're taking in our opinion is more challenging. Have you tried from Eastbourne to Seaford? The other way is steep decline but gradual incline, but the way your going is steep incline gradual decline. But one of the best routes either way you do it. AND defo stay away from the edge and leave no trace!

Great to see you enjoying the South, but watching this brings back memories of my last visit……….. Today I feel I did some good but it has also left me with so much upset and sadness to know that there are people out there in need of so much help. Walking on the South Downs way near Beachy Head my wife and I spotted a young lad sitting over the edge of the cliff. Something gave us the feeling something was wrong, so I headed back to say hello. We sat down to talk (away from the edge) and he said he was there to end his problems. He was only 17. The Beachy Head Chaplin team came and took over and eventually the police arrived to help. It is so good to see all these people there who care and to help. The lad had been sitting there for 4 hours in the rain and cold. The sadness comes to think of all the people who passed by and don’t stop to say hi or even make a quick call to the Chaplin team to attend. The Chaplin team told me they face situations like this around 500 times a year in this area 😢. An amazing team doing an amazing job! Please could I ask you all to pray for Regan, the young lad I met today, and that he finds the help he needs? Thanks 🙏🏻

Lovely! I live in Eastbourne so this is my local patch. Moved here to be near it. The green field is used by the school nearby and is their sports field. Belle Tout lighthouse had to be moved away from the cliff a couple of decades ago. Interesting video about that somewhere. You were very wise not to go near the edge; being soft rock it regularly crumbles away in great chunks. If you ever go again, you can get down onto the beach at Hope Gap where you saw rubbish being collected, and at Birling Gap...great views from both.

Yes, I had that same thought when he mentioned it !. Having since googled it, it does seem very common. I have had it for as long as I can remember, seems really irrational but totally natural at the same time !. I don’t avoid those situations, in fact, embrace them, as I feel it’s better than having a crippling fear of heights. Maybe we’re just wired a bit differently ?…

That secret cricket pitch was supposed to be for american baseball I could tell. They just did the third base line wrong cuz it's supposed to go to home plate from 45* left to first base which is right. Then second base is behind the pitchers mound. Dirt is not necessarily needed but it helps when you get professional jerseys❤❤❤❤❤❤
