Yah that’s very cool but I’m going to build my own. I really enjoy the thought of being able to make something that’s very useful and stand around it burning meat and drinking beer and knowing it’s going to last my lifetime and a few others as well. Does anyone know what grade of stainless steel was used to make this grill?
@jeremyabshire48753 ай бұрын
I like the way you think. One of the most important questions here outside of the price, I built a small cheap grill for myself out of 304SS and after a year outside in the element and having cast skillets and carbon steel contact from random things the surface rust would show its nasty self. Looking back I wish I had went with atleast a 316SS considering I wouldn't have seen maybe 200.00 difference at that time. Again it was a super small grill. Have a good day everyone

I'm confused why this is $1000 more than your standard Argentinian grill? The only difference I see is the adjustable cooking platform. Is there something I'm missing?
@8654ZuluFoxtrot3 жыл бұрын
@@nukebbqusa5613 I have actually been comparing them for a while now. Sunterra makes very nice grills that have the same features and arguably better build quality for about $1k less for the same size. The ONLY thing yours has over theirs is the fuel box on the side feeding into the cooking bay. This is a nice feature, but certainly not a deal breaker and certainly not worth an extra $1k on the price. I'm not bagging on your product, I'm actually seriously comparing the two and trying to figure out where my money is best spent. What other features does your product offer over the Sunterra grills?
@matthewbrothers69053 жыл бұрын
@@8654ZuluFoxtrot Hi once again, I appreciate your feedback. I would say that the other main issues are the fact that we include delivery in the price, include a full length cover (i did not see where they do), and usually have immediate availabiity (vs. 6 to 8 weeks). Having said all this, no doubt both grills are quite nice and you should most definitely invest where you think is best.
@8654ZuluFoxtrot3 жыл бұрын
@@matthewbrothers6905 Thank you very much for taking the time to explain this. One thing I did not notice with your grills was that you included shipping. That alone covers the difference in price! Immediate availability is also a factor that is very nice.

Hi, thanks for your question. The front door is not insulated. The space below the grill is really mainly intended just to house the lever mechanism. It does retain enough heat though to keep things warm.
