Hmm, everyone tells me im stupid to crank out of the engine only 350bhp with turbo, exhaustsystem, cooling, mapping, pistons etc..but it survived till now 45k km on the nordschleife. I wonder if this build would run safe 2 hours straight on a track. Does anyone know how much bhp for track use are fine for this engine?

No human born of a woman can rationally justify splurging £90k on mods for a hatch back that is a depreciating liability, however some petrol heads do it. Considering that we are in an era of cheap credit fuelled by years of low interest rates most people can source the funds. People use flashy cars to disguise all sort and create a fake impression of being rich to the gullible. I am making a general point on your comment. £90k for my kitchen extension, that how mare mortals spend.

I think you knocked the nail on the head Jamie. I don't doubt it does the numbers. But looking at how it puts the power down its been tuned in such a way that the boost comes in very gradually to save the stock engine. Seems abit crazy you spend 50k on a build and not forge it and go full ham.. But still credit where its due. Still a fast car.

This is an AMAZING car, an absolute dream for me. The way it looks, the yellow accents, the seats, the infotainment upgrades, the rear diffuser, aw man I could go on forever and that's before even talking about that INSANE tune. This is 100% money well spent, if I ever get fortunate enough I would most definitely have a nearly identical setup, with maybe a few color changes. Whoever won this car is beyond lucky. thats the same way, the 5,2 with stock internals are mapped. they run up to 1200 hp. its less stressfull for the engine when the boost rises in balance with the rev.
