This is genius! And you are explaining it and showing it in detail! I responded to you the other the other day. I said you literally fixed my slice! This feels funny hitting like this. But it works! I have lost distance but it is consistent. This video helps me understand more on how you are swinging. The pulling motion and the scoop at the end. I will have to try this when I get off work 😂 Greetings from Atlanta Georgia! I’m a 15 handicap and what hurts me is the arrant shots with my driver. Out of bounds or in the woods leaving me with extra strokes. Haven’t played in 15 years until last year. I have the golf bug bad!😂Thanks for the great videos.

I am probably the oldest golfer to comment on your wonderful channel at 88! Your ideas are a combination of all the best advice that I have received over my 75 years of playing golf and none of the bad advice that has been given to me in the past. The advice about letting the club head overtake the hands is, nowadays, only emphasised by a couple of other coaches and, for me has always been critically important. Congratulations on achieving 5000 followers- I am certain that this will be multiplied massively when more players become aware of your channel Cheers Dr David

My name is Patrick Miller I'm from Ohio. The funny thing is that right before seeing your videos, I was applying the Pete Cowen method of bowing the left wrist. Quite successfully I might add. But after watching your videos, especially on the grip. I went out in the 30 degree weather and tried your method. Truthfully I don't remember ever striking the ball so consistently on the face. I've been benge watching you for two days. And except for the driver wanting to go long left. All my other clubs are right on. Thanks a million Patrick D. Miller

Stuart as a single figure player for 40+ years I wish I’d had this level of clear and well explained instruction when I started as it would have made the journey far simpler and much less frustrating. Every level of golfer will benefit from these videos and If you are a golfer starting out then all you need is to watch these videos and listen carefully. Resist the temptation to become confused by some of the highly subscribed channels and It will shorten your journey to single figures by years ! Looking forward to more tips👍Cheers Andy

Hi there Stu David here the chap who has a incomplete spinal cord injury in 22 and had to learn to swing a golf club from scratch 😮 now playing again to 17 handicap and last week and yesterday shot 10 over in 2 competitions 😊 and your drills have helped me to get there especially your must do this drill with the thera bamds ( i have tons of them from my time in rehab 😅) this drill is so timely for me as one of the hangovers of the spinal cord injury is lack of a good braking system in my legs so bad shot is a push . Really looking forward to trying this drill because it works on a natural basis and instinctive 😊😊

I am a new subscriber. Two drills introduced by Stuart have been helping me change the shape of my swing. One is the one where we hold the club parallel to the ground with the hands separated. The right middle two fingers hold the shaft and the left thumb, placed on the butt of the club, presses the shaft down until it is parallel to the ground. We then practice swinging the club parallel to the ground. The second drill is the baseball drill where we stand erect swinging the club around our bodies and then tilt down and mimic the same movements. Still early times but I hope I am on the path to shallowing the club and improving my accuracy and consistency with the help of Stuart.

My game has been going backwards for a couple of years - I’m sure it’s because I’m trying the lean and twist method that you say causes a slide - and it does! At my first lesson, years ago now, my golf instructor cautioned me about KZbin instruction. It took a few months to agree with him, but I eventually understood there is a lot of nonsense or misdirection out there. Now, we both (mostly) agree that the information you're providing here is solid swing theory, and excellent counter-programming to the garbage. I trust I can turn to your material to accompany the 1-on-1 instruction I am getting specific to my swing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I’m always late to the party! I’m watching you on KZbin. Ever since I attempted to play golf Est. 1985 , for the life of me I couldn’t figure out the release; Driver vs. irons . So, I greatly appreciate your method of instructions. They are ingenious and incredibly easy to see, feel and execute. In fact, after watching your Broom, Elastic band drills I played the best golf I’ve played in years. I can’t figure out how I used to play. I guess a few sips of suds made me lose, and thereby more efficient with relaxed hands / wrist. I will definitely steal one of my wife’s rubber. Oops! I have one wife and she has a grand selection of rubber implement’s. So, I can’t wait to give it a go. Thank you, again. I finally, feel like I’m # an intelligent golfer . Looking forward to your next video, which I share with all of my less than intelligent mates, who have given me the worst advice. ✌🏼🏌🏻‍♂️🇺🇸

@@GoodGolfCoaching Thanks! Went out today and focused on three things: 1) did a little "jig" rehearsal (left toe, right heel to right toe, left heel) whilst standing behind the ball lining up, double checked my grip before addressing and 3) imagined the theraband in place during my swings. I had pretty good results. One issue I seem to be having is that the "Leg Action" drills, while it's working great for iron strikes, is causing some strike issues with driver. Maybe that's a good topic for a future video.

Stuart, you have given me the secret to hitting my driver that has confused me for over 30 years. I have active hips and the club head never overtook the handle and losing distance and hitting it right or slice even was the result and my mates always out driving me but after watching this video, I will be off to the golf range to practice this and hopefully reverse the problem that Has plagued me for so long. Thanks. 👍

I was going to comment “buttery” based off of yesterday’s video, but that technically wouldn’t work. I guess “plonked” will have to suffice. In all seriousness, I felt this feeling for the first time this weekend on the range with the driver based off the broom video series. It was a night and day difference from what I’d been seeing for so long. Keep up the good work and thanks for the opportunity!
