Well if you are on that low of a budget you probably should’ve went with a Xeon cpu with those Frankenstein mobos and prob get a apevia 500w which is the same price

The xeon combos are an amazing option! I chose AM4 over LGA 2011 due to the upgrade path, i felt like if i was going to call it ultimate it had to have the best upgrade path. The xeons are great too!

For the price, this was a great build. I understand people saying you could have gone for stronger components that were cheaper, but I do love the fact that you have the upgrade path ready. I bought my son a Xeon 1275v2 (i7-3770 equivalent), B75M-H3D motherboard, and 16gb DDR3 ram at 1666hz for $75. But there's nowhere to go from there. If I ever want to upgrade, I have to buy everything new and hope I can sell this combo for at least $50.

That is the exact reason i chose AM4 over maxing out something like a 3rd gen i7 or 4th gen i7, or maybe even a xeon e5 for lga 2011 and chose a better graphics card, i love the upgrade path am4 offers, i love that a $37 motherboard can take anything from a ryzen 3 1200 all the way to a ryzen 7 5800x3d, even though you probably shouldn't pair a cpu like that with an a320 lol. NOT bad i like it. Also I have a question. my budget build is (CPU - Intel I7-4790 GPU- Radeon Pro WX3100 4GB 12 G RAM SSD.) Do you think these specs could manage games like fc24 and fc25?

Processor wise, your i7-4790 should be fine, the minimum processor for these games is an i5-6600K, though being a generation older, your i7 is better than this i5, gpu wise, that might be a different story, the minimum graphics card is the nvidia geforce gtx 1050 ti, your graphics card is very similar to nvidia's gt 1030, which is a pretty low end graphics card, so the game might be playable on the lowest preset at 720p, but i would reccomend upgrading your graphics card soon, as it will benefit you in all games.

An older optiplex is also a great option, i chose AM4 over LGA 1151 because of the upgrade path.

This all was outstanding but the new Indiana Jones game is going to make people have to upgrade to a 6000 series amd or 2000 series nvidia card. Devs are truly getting lazy. I hope thats not a new trend. Great budget builds like this will be a thing of the past.
