When Cayo released (besides sometimes phantom cars/invisible guards) stealth worked fine, at least for me on PC. After countless nerfs and changes (like the body detection) it became more about memorizing what was broken and who you could kill and whom not. Nice guide

Underrated guide, helps me as a returning player: In my experience 15:40 if the key only shows up after killing the last 3 guards you need to be quick especially with the last 2 because the Juggernaut will see the 3rd one if you're slow

Hey, fair tip for Juggernaut. If you have Aggressive Weapon Loadout, then that shotgun can easily kill him as long as you are up close and only headshot him

Great video! Here's another tip to deal with the juggernaut. You can use the agressor loadout. Every pellet the assault shotgun fires counts as a headshot, so, if you get very close to him, you can very easily kill him from behind.

One thing that isn't mentioned is if they ever fixed a fresh guard seeing that bugged (shoot from the side) guard through walls. The guard you had to shoot from the side previously - a freshly spawned guard could see his body through the walls, if he was killed near the gate. Worth testing, unless it was fixed in the past and I hadn't realized.

Inside the compound the gaurd on top left, don't kill him before taking target. The fresh gaurd that walks around will see him, even between the buildings, tho you might get a few lucky passes there. Before the bottom dollar dlc the gaurd that walks from stairs to see through gate would be seen by the fresh gaurd by car half the time if killed too close to gate. You can shotgun gaurds out of sight if you do it right away, otherwise pool of blood will alert

i normally use the elevator when going to the vault. using the gate keys is risky because of the random guard that spawns randomly behind you and sets off the alarm

Remember, if you approach the north dock by longfin and there’s ‘charlie’ in the storage with the shutter, you can open it solo even while the guards standing there. He will walk off but be careful when he starts walking back! If you’ve beached the longfin, grab the dinghy by the entrance to the dock and off to the drainage tunnel!

Small tip if you are inside the compound: If done correctly, you won't have to kill anyone I think. You can literally sneak past everyone, unless you don't want to hack. In that case one of the three personal bodyguards will drop them.

It annoys me how they try to cram stealth elements into this game that was clearly not at all designed for this much of it. Because at the end of the day it boils down to navigating through vague rules about guard behaviour and memorizing their fixed patrol routes rather than dynamically adapting to situations, because you have very few tools at your disposal other than just running, driving and shooting. A saving grace is that at the very least you can do diversion missions, which make the finale a ton easier if you get spotted.

I often get a guard spawing in the basement after collecting primary target, so I get detected It's a random thing, sometimes spawns in sometimes not, and I always kill the same guards It's so annoying having to restart the heist for this stupid reason

There's a box on the side, just to the left of the player in this video. When you get close a prompt will appear on screen. If you're solo, however, make sure to use the longfin or patrol boat. It won't work if you use an air approach.

when i do what you do at the main dock, a supply truck arrives there and detects the dead bodies why isnt there any information about that

That only happens if the supply truck is at the main gate during the Gather Intel setup. Just check the cameras. If the truck is there, then at some point during the heist it will drive through the main dock. It is possible to steal it, though a warning for controller players - you can't lock on to the driver. You can also check its location on the map. It shows up no matter where it is on the island.

submarine/kosatka approach is way better, because you can instantly go to the compound with drainnage tunnel entry if there's non option to go to the drainnage tunnel, then you need to scope the drainnage tunnel first in "gather intel" prep, its right below the compound, under the water
