Not sure if you saw today’s BO6 blog, but they mention shotguns getting some love so SMGs don’t run the show.

I hope they will drop it, this shit makes the game so unbalanced against players in tight combat situations, or even for new players that bullshit akimbo shotgun is making the game basically unwinnable, takes 1 click to down a player and eliminate them as well, while with a sniper rifle to the head only downs a player

The Ares long shot scope actually provides some recoil control if you waned a goofy scope and an actual benefit albeit very minor

I’d suggest the ARES Scope for the 1887s also, it reduces recoil

how many pellets need to hit for max damage on the pump reclaimer? does the build need max tac stance? why not more speed attachments? or play with a different stock and just ads?

Try Slugs in the lockwoods. Way more range and you can still barrel stuff people in the same range as the decimators. 1 shot headshots up to very long range.

Bro could we get an explaination for how pellets and damage work for shotguns in warzone?? There is no info out there, some folks talking about it from years past but i dunno if that stuff is relevant still. For example im trying to compare the reclaimer vs lockwood pellets/ damage

Goomie which shotgun has more range? The akimbo spas12 or the super shotgun/dual trigger (which u can still use in bootcamp and some LTMs) they both 1shot up close. But the super shotgun seems to have alil more range, ya???

Is the shotgun spred stat relevant to hipfire as well as when ads

In 99% of cases yes. I believe it goes by the minimum hip fire spread. The tighter that is, the tighter the spread when ADS. (There have been few situations where ADS spread isn't affected or there is a bug and ADS does something like turning into a single pellet or is wider than hip firing.)

@KiryokuYT I didn't think minimum hipfire was a useful stat at all. So would a bryson choke be worth using on a haymaker hipfire build for example or would be better to use the bruen bastion angel underbarrel that has no shotgun spread benefits but better hipfire stats than the choke?
