A "construction worker" will not put this monster on his wrist when working. They'll usually wear a cheap 6900. Even soldiers won't choose this watch for active duty. The Mudmaster GWG1000 is for watch guys who desire the most badass wrist watch for outdoor activities. I wear mine to the shooting range, for gun matches, and when hiking in the mountains.

What's the point of having a negative LCD display on this watch? Besides it is very hard to read in dim light is there an advantage of it over a regular LCD display? Thank you :-).

In dim light you cand press that led light button . You can see everything in pitch black darkness .

Great watch, nice review. Does anyone know for sure if it will do English units (versus metric)? I'd like to know if it'll show temp in Fahrenheit.

I live in the western US and work in various regions of the world. Will the atomic clock feature automatically adjust the time consistent with the region or does the operator need to manual adjust to the new time zone?
@jamie_nelson2 жыл бұрын
You have to set your home time zone as your actual location so it knows which tower to sync with. A slight oversight in my opinion.

The only blow is the positioning of the triple sensor... People wear watches on thier left hand. Therefore that sensor cannot be accurate when it's mostly covered or near to jacket, coat...
@logic634 жыл бұрын
I was thinking that too but then it would be awkward to turn the crown with your right hand if it was reversed.

How long does the battery last? Is it hard to change ?
@WatchesOnYou5 жыл бұрын
The battery is actually solar powered, as the whole dial serves as a solar panel. Therefore, there should never be a need to change a battery. However, if the battery is not exposed to sunlight, it will last 6 months with normal use or 25 months when stored in the dark, where the watch will automatically go into power saving mode. If for some reason you do store it for longer than 25 months, the battery can be recharged back to full by just leaving it in the sunlight. Thanks for the question!
@MrCarpen7er5 жыл бұрын
@@WatchesOnYou Solar batteries need to be changed as well. But usually after 10/12 years.

@Ryder E mine is now at the point that it only works in direct sunlight . Once brought into my house completely dies. It 100%needs a new battery. When I made that comment it wasnt the case but now 100% I need that information . It sucks so dam bad cause I love the thing. It's best watch ever imo. Solar or no solar I need to figure out how to change it an personally I'd jus put new batteries in every few years regardless an + to prevent this situation I'm in 😩

@@MrCarpen7er I have a solar powered 2310 that is 15 years old and never been replaced. And it spends most of its time in my watch box. Take it out every 3 or 4 months for a sun batch. Be interesting to,see how long it lasts. I own 12 G's and that one never gets worn...lol
