Another good super budget source of card draw for this deck is Towashi Guide-Bot a 4 mana creature that if you have 4 modified creatures (with counters) you can tap a draw a card for free.

@@EvertfromNederland it's great in my Hamza deck as I can often cast it for free and tap it for free. Its not threatening enough for removal so it just sits there, adding value.

Funilly enough I'm actually building this right now. About 70 cards deep atm. The problem is angels don't all synergise with eachother.....so you gotta kind of pick a theme. I added a few humans too, and some stax pieces. Angels have been going up in price recently because of her, and she was one of the top new commanders on EDHrec (which surprised me). Honestly just a fun battle cruiser type deck that absolutely can become arch-enemy if left alone. Only thing holding it back is its colour.

Sigil of empty throne is a little more than a dollar but is an enchantment that when you play an enchantment you create a 4/4 angel with flying which can give you more angels.

I got that Forged in stone deck and just kept upgrading it to Angel tribal. She is now leading the deck! Also it's my first ever commander deck so it's got that sentimental value to it.

Thats how I feel about ny Krenko deck. I had a bunch of goblins and drew him out of a pack 9 years ago. Decided to make a commander deck with him and spent a while upgrading it. It is and always has been my favorite deck (because its really good and sentimental value lol)

I've almost fallen down the soul sucking hole that is the so-called cEDH scene. I don't think i'm ever trying to do all that, but I do casually play with a friend (we're still trying to find at least a third but i digress) so I've only been playing with precons for the time being, but since I just don't have the time or creativity to look through every card ever, I've been wanting to make a whole deck from scratch and I really like the idea of this one because i love flying creatures. I might have to do this one.

Open the armory and search for glory are highly underrated in this deck. Being able to tutor for a legendary and an equipment has made my Giada next level. With open the armory you can tutor for swords for ramp or mask for draw. Search for glory let’s you get a legendary like Avacyn or even sword of the animist. Highly recommend for any build.

Just finished building Giada myself, wanted an angel deck for a while and as soon as I saw her I had to build it. Built mine as more of a stax deck so its not a total angel tribal but love how it turned out.

angel tribal (albeit in orzhov) is my main deck. as soon as i saw giada she went straight in. how about adding moonsilver spear? expensive to get going - 4 to play 4 to equip - but once you do that creature gets first strike and pumps out angel tokens every time they attack. those tokens will definitely be coming in much larger than 4/4

Hey with mono white decks id start looking at cards like excavation technique and reduce to memory two very useful ways to get rid of anything on the battlefield

This feels really light on spot removal. A lot of the ones in the video are really mini board wipes. And the angels that exile don't do it permanently. Angel of deliverance is under a dollar, it's high cmc but repeatable removal.

Love it. I had thought, perhaps of doing a Sephara, the Sky's Blade Commander with Giada in the 99 as well as any other low to the ground white legends supported by Avacyn's Memorial.

Seph is good but she's not the better commander now. Giada is amazing to buff your board and help get other angels out and having access to her at all times is better than having access to sephara especially if it comes down to commander tax even with sepharas ability

I bought giada last week looking for exactly this. I've got some additional pieces (book of exalted deeds, etc) that synergize well. I wanted to go broader than just white but Atraxia, though fitting for the tribal and the proliferate, would be too broad...

Really nice video as always. Just when I thought of doing a tribal with her, it's awesome timing. For a bit more budget, you could put parhelion 2, adding 2 angels each combat phase. Cost about 3$.

I'm thinking about swapping Universal Automaton with Esper Sentinel. Yes, Automaton benefits from Giada because of the Changling ability BUT, Esper Sentinels Effect (Whenever an opponent casts their first noncreature spell each turn, draw a card unless that player pays {X}, where X is Esper Sentinel’s power) is just so strong and I got this Card recently as a birthday present 😍 What do you guys think about that?

Ngl as someone who plays a decent amount of mono white.. playing it on a budget or with a budget build is likely gonna drastically lower the power level of the deck more so then other colours. Mono white needs all the help it can get so if you can afford to break the bank for a deck like this you should.

@@IshmaelHo I thought about making my own deck techs many times but.. it’s hard starting out. Maybe I will but in the mean time I’d recommend going on EDHREC and looking up Giada and just be sure to set the price filter to expensive. This should show more premium and often times “better” cards

I don't think you want Giada as your commander, you definately want her in the 99 but you want Shalai, voice of plenty, so you can go green or a number of other white angels as your commander.

I recently built my "Angel Tribal" deck. I run Selvala, Explorer Returned as my commander and the deck runs beautifully. It only runs 11 angels, a shape shifter, and 1 angel maker, but they are supported by a vast army of Elvish dorks and green card draw to ensure that I can draw and power them out. I plan to make a few more modifications to get my Angel count to around 18. Mono white feels like it lacks the ability to play late game/high cost angels, or to effectively rebuild, green easily fixes both of those issues
