I'm a masters Ashe main just hoping I can learn something new watching this. My contribution to this video is this: One of the keys to getting the most out of your dynamite is positioning to follow up with your scoped shots, ideally headshotting anything at or below 150hp to secure picks. It seems obvious, but when you are anchoring around your tank, you will struggle to be able to consistently follow up on burning targets. This is why you need to search for your opportunity to off-angle, dynamite ASAP, and continue to look for picks on that angle until there is sufficient pressure to force you to leave. When you reveal yourself on a good angle, it's best to look for a dynamite as soon as possible (1-2 shots before is excusable), to minimize the amount of time the enemy has to react, and to maximize the time you are shooting at targets that are burning. Hope this helps 👍

Just wanted to say this is the single best Overwatch guide I've ever seen on KZbin. After watching this, I feel like I should be in Grandmaster, even though I haven't played in years. I can tell an incredible amount of time and effort went into it, from editing the clips to the graphic transitions, and I really appreciated it.

this is one of the best guides you can find out there imo, but i dont see many people make use of this unless they are beginners. so maybe adding more in depth time stamps would differentiate it from other beginner guides? maybe examples of using the given advice in the video and a short vod review where you can explain what decisions are the best for a current situation and why they are made? great video as usual :)

Fantastic visual guide. Hot damn the visualisation and the graphics aspect of the guide is so well done that I cannot comprehend enough. You and Skyline were the only coaches I used to follow back in the release of OW1 (and also when I didn't know of others that much). I left OW1 when things got out of hand with Brigette release and Blizzard's inability to balance a character for a whole long year lmao and then double shield happened. On the contrary OW2 is somewhat more enjoyable with the removal of most hard CCs and the change to 5v5 but the matchmaking really feels lopsided. But all things aside, I have been yearning to learn Ashe as a mostly hitscan based player for so long and this guide really motivated to go through the training even more so.

I need a video on what to do when you are being focused on, especially by high mobility hero’s like Tracer. I’m getting chased down by them a lot and don’t have the mobility to consistently win the fights. I just started playing OW2 and just unlocked Ashe, so I’m already at a disadvantage.
@Shobu552 жыл бұрын
Content of course as always absolute top! Will certainly look at it more often to internalize everything. But in the presentation of the content I have one or two improvements / criticisms: In the larger graphics I find it somehow not appealing to read through the texts and I think it's mainly because everything is written in capital letters. These flying particles and the "glow" effect on the text doesn't really help either, but even makes it a bit more "tiring" to read. In the graphics from 36:00 on, the aforementioned "glow" and the light background make it even more difficult to read the text. In general, I think it would help (if you want to keep the style and fonts) if you highlighted the text sections that are currently being addressed. This way, it would be easier for the viewer to follow the flow of the video without having to actively read the text themselves.
@ioStux2 жыл бұрын
Great idea to highlight the active text, will take the feedback into account for the next project :)

@@ioStux i personally like the flying bubble thingies, maybe make it so they dont overlap the text and the other objcets? idk what to call them
@ioStux2 жыл бұрын
@@frogsaregreatwizards9097 I actually wanted to put them behind the text and graphics, but the problem was that the particles graphic is pretty compressed, so if i placed anything in front of it, it would get super pixelated with tons of visual artifacts. I'll look for a solution!

really enjoyed the info, very good guide, wish overwatch presented some of this stuff in game, like how much damage various abilities actually do. Also wanted to provide a little consturctive criticism since you mentioned you're in a learning and refining phase, these are not huge issues, just little things that could be improved. IMO, the overwatch music is too dramatic to make good background music for something like this, it's distracting. I would pick something else personally, but it could at least be mixed down a bit further. similarly, the visual background was also often distracting. If you're gonna have a bunch of particle effects like that to create some visual texture, they need to be lower contrast, and probably just toned down a bit in general, to avoid clashing with the actual focus of the video. also, there were a couple little hiccups in your voiceover, making me wonder how exactly that part was produced. It almost sounds like the whole video is just one long voiceover track, recorded all in one take. now that might not be the case, but if it is, wow, almost 40 min is a really long time to speak precisely. Once again, this isn't a big problem, just another small distraction that could be cleaned up by breaking it down into smaller chunks so you can do additional takes if you mess up a word, without having to rerecord the whole thing. ok finally one last thing on the conceptual side. Towards the end of the video, it started to feel a lot less focused on Ashe, and like you were explaining a lot of general concepts. This might be necessary, as obviously it wouldn't help somebody to explain win conditions if they don't even understand that concept, but it might be an area that could be improved, that's the only reason I'm pointing it out. Whether that entails more concise general descriptions so you can be more specific about Ashe, or maybe some more gameplay examples in the video for that section, I don't have much of a concrete suggestion on this one. Maybe you take like 1 minute at the beginning of the video to explain some of those fundamental concepts, so they can be in mind for the whole thing? Again, just a small thing that might be an opportunity to improve. I feel like you of all people would appreciate and benefit from this kind of feedback, otherwise I would not have bothered typing it all out! Anyway, thanks for the most informative OW content on youtube, looking forward to the next one!
@ioStux2 жыл бұрын
Hey, thank you so much for the feedback! I'll tone down the opacity on the particles a bit. And yes, I recorded the voiceover in one 40 minute take :) I'll also look into toning down the music a bit, i like having more dramatic music, but toning down the volume should help a bit :)

Bronze life is hard. 7:59 also following your aim guide, does it really matter if scoped / unscoped are different, since they are not "really" the same only close to crosshair and actually having different uses. Since static target clicking profits ALOT from lower sense like 45cm+ (that is precision AND speed getting better), like valorant sense, while dynamic clicking from hipfire or pasu in kovaaks is alot better below 30cm/360

I enjoyed this, but I was confused by a few things you said, especially in the win conditions section, discouraging people from shooting at heroes with high mobility especially. These characters are likely to focus you on Ashe and removing any support is removing huge utility from the enemies. Killing Lucio can save you or a teammate from being ran down by the enemy Tank. You can always one shot Tracer and even forcing recall is valuable because she'll have to play more conservatively. Forcing defensive cooldowns is a huge part of playing DPS, but the phrasing here made it sound like you should just ignore those characters. Sure I'd prefer easier targets like Pharah, Junkrat, or Cass, but there's a reason these characters have a low pick rate.
