Hello ♥️ I apologize I do not know what they used. But as far as the maintenance we just use a leaf blower when it’s really dirty and I just sweep it with a broom if it’s not that bad and use a dustpan to gather the leaves. Nothing really special it’s extremely easy to maintain. Hope that helps. 🙂
