hi Janie, thanks for the lovely video, I am wondering, did you liquidise or blitz the barbecue sauce? I am thinking particularly about the star Annis and a garlic clothes. Thanks and keep up the good work, Sandy from Ireland

Hi Sandy, after it was reduced to the amount I wanted, I replaced the simmering basket with the TM measuring cup on the TM lid. I then blended my barbeque sauce 3 min/speed 10. And thank you for the lovely compliments! Enjoy this fabulous sauce :)

Thank you so much. One question. How long does the BBQ Sauce last? I usually put my BBQ sauce fridge just I need help on how long this BBQ Sauce will last. Thank you very much.

It will keep 3 months in the fridge unopened. Once opened, use within a month. It usually doesn't last very long once we open it because it tastes so good!

Hi Janie! I’ve been following your channel since the marvellous Guinness cake! A winner! I have a question for you on this lovely bbq sauce, how long does it last for? If kept in the fridge, would it last for a few weeks? Thank you for sharing your recipes! Greetings from Australia!

Hi Simone, thank you for your lovely compliments! As long as I've used sterilised glass bottles and sterilised lids, I find this Ultimate BBQ Sauce keeps 3-4 weeks in the fridge... we always run out by then! :)

FYI, a UK and US tablespoon is 15ml. An Australian tablespoon is 20ml

Hi @Enki's Daughter, thank you, and you are correct. In some recipes 15 ml or 20 ml can make a difference. However, in this recipe, it's fine to be approximate. This is a wonderfully forgiving recipe if you are a creative cook who measures approximately, and it's also a delicious recipe to make if you are more of a scientific cook and you weigh and measure accurately at each step 😋
