I remember having Lan Party with my friend, and we had 1 match in Shanghai which took 12 hours lol played till 1k points or something. And surprisingly, that was an Even match. was only like 50 points difference at the end. That was Epic

Smoke grenades (especially 40mm smokes) are absolutely the greatest troll weapon in the game. I remember getting banned off multiple servers because I would go in and exclusively shoot them at tanks, LAVs, and helicopters. The helicopters especially were hilarious because more often than not it would cause the pilot to crash if they were flying low and/or fast. Anyone in a vehicle without thermals unlocked and equipped would likewise get fucked by my teammates using the utter panic and confusion of getting their screen completely, if momentarily, obscured to rush in and blowtorch the shit out of the vehicle. Very embarrassing, I regret nothing. One thing not touched on that I think warrants mention is counter sniping… with the tank. Especially counter sniping the 40x users at the back of the map or on ridge lines. The thermal scope is disgustingly good at letting you find those little cockroaches and stamp them out with 105 or 120mm explosive justice. The best part is there is not a damn thing they can do about it other than spawn a helicopter, which you just shoot down with your massive tank shotgun the quick swap and instant fire the he round because that was a thing. Same sort of idea, exclusively counter-sniping with scopes that don’t flash and give you away (including slapping a scope on the revolver or shotguns with slugs). I used to be quite good at this but it did make me shit at any shooter with slightly different bullet physics so I stopped (I would be fucking holding over in game with virtually no bullet drop). Very fun, you could always tell when you had pissed them off because they would start trying to spawn scout helicopters to come find you or air insert and try to parachute on top of you. It was always tricky dealing with that pesky death cam.

The Shield is the best gadget in BF4. Nobody expects it, and if you have at least 1-2 friends that can help you staying behind the Shield, you can capture any point inside buildings.

There's one underrated feature in battlefield 4: Able to spawn in vehicles such as Transport Helicopters, RHIBoats and Jet Ski's Combine that 'bring friends' from A-List and you can make mobile spawn beacon out of yourself, for example Siege of Shanghai, pick up Jet Ski, drive all the way to other side on water (A Flag or E Flag), announce on team chat that spawn is available there and see the blueberries come out of your vehicle repeatedly and get behind enemy lines with numbers, while remain hidden from plain view. The only difference is that this tactic is not limited to your squad, but available to the whole team, the downside is that you need to be remained seated for the rest of the match to keep that option to spawn open for the team, Objective : Survive. definitely ??? tier

2042 was the biggest mistake in gaming history, I played it for a few hours and literally everything sucked. The gameplay, the maps, the scaling and even the damn character skins were so garbage I immediately uninstalled it.

Ok, I'm gonna say it Hardline freaking ROCKS! The whole thing of police vs criminals was awesome and each side has personality. Mainly the criminals. Sure, it wasn't in the scale of the OG Battlefields, but for what it was it was pretty good and it was fun! There's no shame in liking it and no shame and saying it is best then 2042. After all, almost anything is better then that game. It is not a high bar to surpass.

As a BF 4 Vet player,i gotta say,the MOST refreshing stuff was the combat medic/shotgun mixed assault class,because anyone who tried to cook up something,was dealt with by a fine slug to the head,whilst healing dozens of my fallen teammates. So yes,i agree with our boi here about the ultimate S+ tier setup.

As a BF veteran that’s been playing every battlefield since bad company 2. This list kinda sucks ass 😂. He put the motor and air-burst 40mm at D-tier which shows that his list is based on how easy it is to use or “the skill” it takes to play with the weapon and not the actual results from the gadget. The 40mm is so devastatingly overpowered that custom servers literally ban the use of it on operation Metro map cause the entire game would be 40mm spam with like three to 4 people have 70 plus kills 😂. The motors are stupid OP and I target a motor to hunt down as soon as I see one cause I know how OP they can be. In BF1 the motor truck, I can’t tell you how many games I’ve gotten 100+ kills with no deaths in a match with the motor truck with its devastating gas and HE motor combo. Even killing vehicles by the dozens. Like I said the results of these weapons are absolutely S tier and you can fight me on it. But he’s judging it by how all BF players judge stuff and that’s weather if your a bitch boi for using it or not. 😂

tbh, the "hardcore" or "realistic" modes in games tend to appeal to me not because of being "more difficult" or "more realistic", but... just being simpler and sometimes easier. Like, hardcore mode in Battlefield basically flattens the meta and makes the game easier to play, because instead of having to grapple with recoil patterns or figuring out which attachment makes your gun shoot like a laser beam, you can just... shoot. Most guns are equally effective, and any gap in effectiveness is greatly reduced. If you are capable of grasping the concept of not running out and getting beaned every 5 seconds and instead using cover and perhaps teamwork, you can have fun and rewarding gameplay.

Hey I play realistic in warthunder and it's just the best way to play it, not because it's more realistic, for that you would have to try simulation mode (even though it's stil far from a real simulation), but because you don't have a freaging red dot over your vehicle giving up your position miles away to the enemy team, so your camouflage is useful, and nobody have an aim bot helping you to know where to shoot, so true skill is needed, apart for the KA-50 braindead players ;p Edit : I also played hardcore mod on older BF games, but last one was BF 3 it was long ago and I don't remember the reason apart from the "one shot one kill" aspect X)

One of the ultimate S+ Tier moves is to use a LMG and getting kills with it. It goes beyond using a shit gun, as you are literally using a class of gun that even the devs have actively hated for over 20 years through multiple games and have done everything possible to make sure that players who try to use it are punished heavily. That just means getting kills with them will get a lot of hate in the chat and even booted off of several servers. As a M60E4 operator I speak from experience.
