You can't take the US C-Team of OCRs and have an "Olympic theme" where typically the best of nations compete. And if it's just a bunch of C-teams from every nation, then it's not really watchable anyway, the "Olympic" Nation v Nation just makes it more so.

The courses are designed to be difficult, but a lot of the obstacles are actually super padded. The course is constructed by the same crew who builds the American Ninja Warrior course. They’re very well prepared and understand the safety aspect of everything. Injuries are bound to happen, but it’s highly unlikely anyone could die on this course, especially considering all of the athletes on here are professionals
