Some additional small tips missed in the video! - @mitchb8801: Using the ammo loader, you can also place empty boxes back in the machine and load the ammo back into the box - @mattmsty: Using the trade room kiosk, you can redeem free rations hourly, daily, and weekly, to get free basic starter gear when needed. - @dragoncade: 1. Some items might not render in until you get close to them (possibly an issue being worked on?) but make sure to consider this when looting. 2. Grated floors: Currently you can shoot up through them, but not down. 3. The walls of the air drop container are less than bulletproof. Bullets and even grenades will pass thru them as if they weren't there. The doors will stop stuff, but the rest of the container offers no protection.

As a brand new player to VR I spent 2 hours ( the total battery life of my Quest 3) just messing around and becoming familiar with the controls and loving every minute of it. I am amazed how fleshed out this is. Just holding and shelving guns and the clickity clackness is suuuuublime. :)

I use a gym mat instead of a boundary. Since boundaries, I find are unreliable and annoying. Having a mat is so much better because you can tell when you step off of it if your going to close to a wall. I have a decently big room though so i just find it better. Definitely grabbing this game tonight.

7:00 An additional thing to note is that green boxes are more likely to have a chest rig in them and may even have two, but they will be lower quality, while the wooden crate has a chance to spawn any chest rig up to lvl 5 or any backpack. I pulled a Ragnar out of one one time

Here’s a tip that’s helped me tremendously. Switch the setting from “hold to toggle”, for the grab function. It makes firing and aiming easier, at least for me. You make it seem so easy but it’s not. I’ve been struggling with it, but I’m getting better. Gotta keep grinding.

A tip that I’ve found useful is to do a warmup raid (not training) and use a low-mid kit you’re not worried about losing. Sometimes I’ve dropped into a raid and dominated the map as a relatively new player, other times I get rekt 5 raids in a row by incredibly kitted duos and trios. Some days all I see are nakeds and new players, other days I’m seeing mega chads everywhere. Sometimes what map you play on can determine what kind of players you’ll see. Matka day is popping since everyone is going for the collector.

I got stomped one too many times and stopped playing for a bit until my friend got me back into it. It's so satisfying to get even decent at this game, the other day I was in a raid with that same friend on Underground. He died and I killed the person who killed him, took his golden SKS, killed a duo that pushed me, a bunch of fenix afterwards, and managed to exfil (This was not a protagonist moment as my legs were shaking the entire time irl 😅), something I never would have managed to do if I kept playing it like it was every other shooter. If you're struggling with this game, that's alright, you'll get better with practice. Hell, I'm still just decent tbh. But this game is so much fun and I'm so glad I got back into it

Well I happen to have two high-level vests I wanna get rid of. Because I’d be damned if I lose vests I DIDN’T EVEN USE. If you use Quest 2, we could do a couple raids if you’re interested. I’m not the best player but we’ll get through this.

It would be nice to include quirks the game in its current form might have. Things that will likely be fixed at some point, but worth pointing out just in case it takes a while. - Adventure bag weighs less than the sling bag (misplaced decimal) - Items might not render in until you get close to them, at least on PC (so many people don't look at the table behind you when you spawn in the silo barracks. Stuff can spawn there, but you have to move closer before you can see it) - Grated floors: Currently you can shoot up through them, but not down. This gets a LOT of people killed in Silo as a result. - Another big one as I saw you do it in the video: The walls of the air drop container are less than bulletproof. Yes it gets better. Don't force it though. Otherwise it won't and you'll not feel well for up to a few hours. Better to do small sessions. Good luck!

You cant dump gear anywhere you want. I learned this the hard way. If you put firearms on the shelves in the "Storage" room, even if the guns dont get highlighted red, they'll be gone after your next raid or next log in. Same with "storage" based items such as bandages or health injections if you store them on shelves in the "weapons" rooms. Every video ive seen seems to mention being able to place things anywhere, but its not true.

No joke, I managed to get a Krink, 3-4 mags for it, a glock and 3 mags for it in the City. IT IS WORTH IT just run in with basic stuff. Even use some of your rations to run in and get some good gear. The "main building" with most of the loot is a great place, it does typically have 3-4 Fenix but don't worry, there will be numerous weapons there to fend them off. Just keep to cover, loot and move. If you need attachments, Island is good. Missile Silo is pretty ok for getting kills, as is the City.
