I played Dead by Daylight, and there was a creator named Otz who was similarly dedicated to the community. It's such a boon to the player base, especially in this case, where it's not just a top player but the very best.

You are absolutely correct, to the point that I worry about him. Extreme outliers like this don't go unnoticed forever within large data sets. BGs seem like a hive of rng shenanigans, but it's actually a crazy nuanced system of seven-plus factor algorithmic MMR that distills the obvious top statisticians from an enormous sample of people.

i play exactly as he does but I either do not find key cards most of the time or my opponents high roll like crazy. So, streamer luck, blizzard favors streamers to break the narrative that the game is luck based

@@NbNgMOD MaeMae and Dog are yet a million kilometers from Jeef. In MMR pools of 75k or more people, the gap between 17000 and 19000 in two different regions on this scale is scientifically freakish in an ethically run MMR pool. Being in the top ten, and 1000 points behind number one (Jeef) is frankly absurd in an open pool competition as large as this one. Jeef's a lovely guy, and a passionate competitor in his field and I've followed him for a long time. I would never want to see him abused for his clear talents. *Tinfoil Hat* Statistical outliers ARE paid attention, and talents like his are a target for the ultra elite in gambling sectors.

I think jeef has single handedly doubled thousands of players MMR including me. After watching jeef for about 2 months ive gone from 5.2K to comfortably 7.5-8.1k and I’m finding that I’m still climbing. This man is not only the best player he’s also so committed to teach the community how he thinks and how to play the game properly which is something I haven’t seen from any other game or person literally ever

This is actually so good. Jeef is such a kindhearted person, he could've made this vid 1 hr long to maximise profit from the vid. But instead he kept it short, a really rare and genuine person. I'm a pretty trash player I was stuck at 4k, but after discovering jeef's channel I'm now at 8.5k mmr. With this guide I think I might be able to go further! Thanks jeef, ur the best

After thinking about it, the common person is most likely saying to themself, “1 hour tier list vid… breh” and then skipping around through it. Jeef on the otherhand is so based and gave us a short summary and a spreadsheet. Simple king shit.

This spreadsheet is very helpful, and is probably the best resource I have ever seen for a competitive game. One thing I would like to see added is a section for how to play the individual heroes, including what builds work best with each hero and what sort of curve tends to be best for them. That said, I managed to get Top 1 on only my third game this season playing the murloc build without even seeing Brann the whole game (not even in the opponent boards.) Thanks for showing us "how its done".

Hi Jeef, great content as usual, I had two games in a row yesterday where I played Elemental Azerite comp with Temp Tampering and stayed on tavern 3 the whole game, I didn't even need Lubber and it wrecked the lobby, the very next game I had Zar’jira with Jandice so I was able to get three goldern Azerites and again scaled massively. Once the ele's had scaled, I brought a feldrake and combo'd it in the shop with Zar'jira, very lucky but I think people are sleeping on the Azerite comp.
