It sux when people say "you are smart" after you have invested 5000 more hours of practice and studying in a field hence they reason why you are orders of magnitude better than those who have not. Meanwhile there are some people with the level of expertise that even if you invested twice the time they did you would never be close to do what they manage to. But this people are also called "smart" and this 2 types of people are vastly different.

for Murk-Eye and potentially a Pokey triple. He had the gold, and there was nothing he really needed. Plus 10x outs to find him (8 of which were discovers). The problem was: his rylak wouldnt die anymore.

because i am posting 4 minutes after this was posted i have no idea if this video is good or if i will "love" it. You can be good at a game without necessarily being smart. I knew some people in college who did nothing but drink beers, smoke weed, and play chess 24 hours a day. They could get lost in a two room apartment, failed all their classes but damn were they good at chess. Over 2k each. Any other topic of conversation they were basically beavis and butthead. Not savants or autistic or anything. Just normal stoners who played a LOT of chess and got good.

you also probably don't look for specific highrolls that exist and just play "normally" which is clearly not how any of these top 100 players think. They always have a transition or late game plan while most of the time I play I just buy whatever seems best fit for that turn and rarely think ahead multiple turns or roll for these key minions

Keeping a low profile is the way to greatness though. Not underestimating yourself of course, but when everyone is telling you how good you are, thinking of things like that keeps the balance for yourself
