Check out my new affordable animation online workshop! You can use Blender and I put a ton of work into it :) courses.sirwade.com/animation-basics-fundamentals

$500 isn't really what I would call affordable.
@SirWade8 ай бұрын
Hi! I call it affordable because of the value. It’s almost 15 hours of lecture content, 20 hours of animation demos, and 5 hours of example shot reviews- and I don’t think you’ll find any animation basics class that teaches even close to that level of material, especially without it costing at least 3x or 4x the price of my class :) It’s affordable more in the relative sense

@@SirWade Sir, you're absolutely right, don't let people tell you otherwise. Your courses are reasonably priced with nothing comparable in the market, and you deserve every bit of it... As a 17-year-old aspiring animator, I can't wait to take some of your courses. Keep up the great work.

I have used a lot of 3D software but Blender is just something special. I can't really describe it but somehow it just makes me feel happy that it exists. Don't get me wrong there are many things I would change if I knew how and the program has a lot of shortcomings but despite everything it just puts a smile on my face when I open it.

Great, great, great content here. This quick video is really handy for all Blender users. I figured out some of them by myself because I really needed to find a way to solve them. Thanks for sharing : )

Amazing knowledge bomb right there! Also glad you realised that its a big mistake to try to make it work like Maya, thanks for pointing this out at the beginning, people really need to hear it from a professional who knows both.

I absolutely want more of these videos. The number of tools available for free (instead of with pluggins like animbot) is astounding. Great video!

This video came out at the perfect time for me, I was planning on tackling Blender today after using Maya for 3 years. I'm most excited about the hotkeys, but I'm still confused using the UI and especially the outliner. I'd like to see a video covering importing/referencing a rig, adding PBR textures and finding and using the rig controls. One thing I found confusing about Blender was the fact that you need to select the object in Object Mode then go into Pose Mode to animate it. It'd be nice to see what the Blender equivalents of the animBot functions are.

Iam using blender in industrial standard hotkeys settings ..it not bad .it has some drawback like extrud , working on nodes but now I can use same muscle memory in both software it super amazing

Love your videos! What I would like to see in a future video is to find optimal ways to reduce memory size for animating. I'm not sure if my characters or sets have too many textures or are too high poly but I cant seem to have more than one character in my Blender file without it exceeding 3GB. Thank you for all that you do!
@zakhar_gabyshev8 ай бұрын
In blender studio animators make the character rig in the first blender file and then open another blender file with these characters (linked), which is efficient pipeline for collaborations. Or turn on Simplify to reduse the resolution of the textures. Might work, probably
