Loved the multiple camera angles (seeing the frame-by-frame size comparisons was really informative). Great video, IMO one of the best vids you've put out in the past little while. I agree that 15 (FR) and 20 (Rear) is the nicest. But I'd be worried about rubbing too.

With the 20mm in the front it rubs on the bumper really bad. So better go with 12.5mm on the front and 20 for the rear.

With bigger spacers on the back car will understeer a lot easier because more grip from the rear

For me 15mm spacers all around made my car feel more planted in turns. Also what Imon mentioned can be solved easily with throttle.
@Peanutdenver4 жыл бұрын
Your suspension is set up for the designed wheelbase and /track/width/etc, so it won't perform as designed optimally. But for street use it won't make a huge difference unless you go crazy with your spacer width. Track days are a bit different, but all relative to how much wider you're going without making the proper suspension changes for the spacers you've added.

The details of this video makes your channel the best for F80 owners. I have referenced your videos before performing many upgrades on my F80 since I purchased it in 2017. I run 12 in the front and 15 rear, but installed them years ago.

C Straley 1 second ago I put michelin 4S 305's on the back of my comp and it looks amazing. Way better than using spacers imo and better meat on the ground for traction. The gap is super small to the bottom of the wheel well and the stance is just sick. I was worried the handling might be compromised but exactly the opposite is what happened. Best cosmetic decision so far other than a rear spoiler.

Great video. Wish I had watched this before I made my choice.Would have made things much easier! I went with KW 12,5mm all round and am very happy with my choice. need a video explaining which engine oil is best to use in an f80 m3 slightly modded 5w-30,0w-30,0w-40,5w-40 and which oil liqui molly, oem, or motul
@BosaFTW4 жыл бұрын
The best depends on your needs and how you drive. If you really punch your engine in the face and change oil every 10.000km I recommend you Ravenol RCS 5W40. It is a extreme high quality oil, everybody says it in forums. You can also run a 10W40 or 5W50 when living in hot countries. NEVER USE 0W30 if you drive your car fast!!! Also I wouldn‘t use 0W40. Too liquid and the additives destroy too fast. You need a solid ground oil and this is what you get by choosing a higher number before the W. 5W or 10W all the way. Only if you live in Alaska or Canada with hard minus degrees freezing cold then choose a 0W40

15F/18R is the best fitment imo!
