Just to drive this point home: -Female Pokémon are generally more valuable if the Pokémon species itself is valuable. Everybody wants a female Gible because their goal is to breed a Garchomp. Male Gible, while decent, is interchangeable with a Magikarp as far as breeding goes. -Male Pokémon are generally more valuable as pure stat dumps for cheap. Male Hopips are far more valuable than female Hopip because almost no one want a competitive Jumpluff, but that male can breed with an Amoongus and suddenly you struck gold. -Ditto is there to treat the male Pokémon as the main species of the child, breed with genderless Pokémon, or just as another option to your choice of egg group. Very versatile. -None of the above applies to Pokémon with only one gender (like Jinx and Petilil). Be very careful with the Pokémon you buy. Nothing is more crushing than breeding up a 3x31 Bold Petilil not realizing that those stats are stuck on this species for now on. An Amoongus with those same stats were at minimum $525,000, whereas a Liligant barely surpasses $40,000…

what about Pokémon who have equal attack and special attack like wishiwashi? (yes I am aware wishiwashi is not in pokemmo just making an example). Surely there are cases such as this where having 6iv would be beneficial if say, you wanted to switch from a physical move set to a special one. Additionally, if you were breeding up a shiny wishiwashi having that 6th iv would be a worthwhile investment wouldn't it? As opposed to grinding a separate wishiwashi shiny or not I would imagine it would be cheaper to tweak its move pool instead of breeding a separate 5iv wishiwashi.

If a mon were in pokemmo where that'd be useful sure haha, but i tend to make the tutorial for PokeMMO. I will say there's alot of pokemon out there that even i have with 6x31 and Naive nature (salamance for example) but most times ITts best to do 5x31 so you not only spend less on wasteful IV's but if you're a special attacker the lower your attack stat the better! (You'd be surprised how many people get caught off guard by moves like foul play or even confusion, last years pve boss fight is a great example)

@@OfficialDarku That is another thing, I looked up confusion after this video and I didn't find anything about it using the targets stats like foul play. Is it a pokemmo exclusive thing? Otherwise, I am not sure why the move confusion is being brought up. Would you please enlighten me?

Didn’t even watch it yet but I rlly don’t think u need an hour to understand how to breed Pokémon in the game. It made it sm easier than the OG games and u can legit summarize them all in like 15mins.
