For me the camera lense protector are for preventing micro-scratches. This way, if you decide to sell your phone you can sell it at top dollar because of its good condition.

I’ve found it useful to use one of those fully flat lens protectors that covers the whole module so you can CLEAN everything at once and never get dust anywhere near the camera module area / between the cameras, etc.

I ended up swapping out my Rhinoshield lens protectors for the Shellrus ones within the past week and a half and I couldn't be happier. I was getting tired of the Rhinoshield lens protectors falling off and the inside of the lens that make contact with the actual camera lens smudging up really badly when trying to put the lens protector back on. And I do agree that changing the look of the iPhone with these protectors does give the phone a cool, new look to it. Again I love the Shellrus lens protectors, and I give thanks to you for the full review of that product before this video came out.

Nicholas Cano Unfortunately it won’t fit. The lens protectors need something to hold onto as a foundational base (aka the camera lens modules). I too have a camera module skin from Rhinoshield that I haven’t been able to use since I received my first pair of lens protectors because the skin, after applied, creates an equal height to the lens modules, in which the lens protectors wouldn’t be able to latch onto the lens modules if the skin is on. You got to choose one or the other for the module.

Great review, I only found out after I had bought a so called decent lens cover that the main issue was ghosting from using the flash. Why nobody has not designed a phone case where you have a simple sliding cover built on the right hand side of the cover is beyond me.

I'm not so sure your statement that an air gap between a lens protector and the lens will lead to distortion is optically valid. It was standard practice with 35 mm film cameras to use a clear UV or skylight filter to act as protection to the primary lens with an obvious large air gap between the UV or skylight filter and primary lens and this prudent practice would not lead to any distortion or artifacts - only protection. It is more likely protectors that you review that don't necessarily have an adhesive that adheres directly to the camera lens but rather has an air gap, is causing distortion or artifacts not from the air gap, but from lack of an AR coating.

Oh the iPhone 12 Pro Max lens just broke lol. Only 2 weeks in. I changed my phone case to one that is only flush to the lenses. My mistake. So some how the lens cracked. (So get a case that lens protector sticks out further than the lens) and definitely a cover. I will get it replaced and whatever my friend days is the best. 😂

My question that your videos on this subject don't seem to answer is: after you've scratched or cracked the protector through your testing, was there damage to the actual lenses? If no, then haven't the products done their job? The point of them is to prevent having to replace the more expensive lenses, no?

the point was to show that not all of them are *good* protective lenses. if you purchase one that scratches easily, then you'll have to keep replacing them probably every month or so. if you purchase one that has more or less the same scratch resistance, you don't need to replace them as often

I have the Tozo6 earbuds, and I like them. I have had them for 2 months. They have a nice sound quality, and work seemlessly. I have accidentally put one in the opposite ear, and it tells you to reverse it. Even if you try to put it in your ear wrong, it will tell you how to adjust it. Battery and charging are good. They charge wirelessly! For a modest price on Amazon, these are really good! Also, Amazon rates all products by sales in a numerical list, and will show you how they rate. There are so many Airpods knock offs. The Tozo6 case is bigger than Apple airpods so those cases won't fit. With ios14 update real air pods will be the best experience of all.
