Gosh. I just tried this recipe and it turned out really soft and fluffy! But instead of putting 1 1/3 cup of sugar, I only added 1/3 cup 'cause my dad is diabetic and I added 1/2 cup of cocoa powder coz I want it to be more chocolatey. Give it a try guys! I have done this twice and it was moist and delicious. I used lime juice instead of vinegar I used 1 cup white sugar I don't have a muffin tin. I only have a bread pan. In the bread pan it took 35 minutes

I'll try these this evening,I'll give feedback. I tried these but only made a change by using dark brown sugar so i reduced the sugar quantity then i used self raising flour because that's what i always use for baking,i didn't expect them to be delicious but they were delicious,moist and fluffy. I just tried this recipe and it turned out to be really great, my whole family liked it very much. I usually hate sweets but I really liked this recipe. But instead of using only baking soda, I used 3/4 teaspoon baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, added it to the wet ingredients and whisked it until it created a foam, and then added the rest of the ingredients, and instead of using water, I used soy milk. thanks for sharing the recipe with us.

@@lamirada90638 baking powder is just baking soda and cream of tartar, usually just gives a better rise for a more fluffy texture. Also you usually won't need much acid like vinegar.

I like this cupcakes. How can i make this recipe low carb version, should substitute the sugar with condensed milk or reduce the sugar by how many grams? Would it affect the cake texture by reducing sugar? Thanks

Condensed milk is so full of sugar, this is why it is used in so many fudge recipe. It's basically a thick sugar syrup. You're also adding a lot of extra cost for no reason.

Hi Moe, yuppers, you can use those without a problem, they may take 5 extra minutes to bake, so keep that in mind, and use a little cake tester thingie if you aren't sure. Hi stacy ! 😁 Yes, definitely ! and yuppers, I would recommend it. The reason I seldom use cake flour is that it is so much more expensive than plain flour ( all purpose flour ) but yes, you can use it and you will have great results. Milk is great too, you can indeed switch over to milk and have great results.

Hello, thanks for watching. I'd give these maybe 5 days shelf life. IF you want, you can freeze these for a month. As with any baked goods, you want to let them 100% cool, then store them in an airtight container.

Amazing recipe. Tasted delicious and super duper moist. The cupcakes did rise but the problem is that they are a bit soft on the bottom half. Only one cupcake was fully attached. So I mashed the others and smoothed them into a baking pan. Baked it again and cut it into square pieces. Turned fine as chocolate cake. Yummy 😍

This is absolutely delicious. I substituted some ingredients though. What I did was instead of a cup of water, I did it with half cup evaporated milk mixed with half cup of water. The evaporated milk was on the fridge and the water was just in room temp. I also used canola oil. I did not use any mixer, just did it by hand. I used caster sugar. The result was so great. As he said it rose, it was moist and fluffy and beyond delicious. 😊 I also topped it with ice cream frosting. (Frosty boy Australia)
