Where I live, it’s impossible to build these things cheaply. a d series motor here costs almost 2000 dollars, a b16a goes for 2.5k-3k dollars. Not to mention all the other parts are also not cheap. even junkyard parts here automatically sell for grail amount. and when you build these things here, you’ll be greeted with purists. you have to have a theme like spoon, mugen, etc. if you build your car how you like it, you’re a laugh in a honda community.

Love to see you making more videos on the regular again. Can't wait for the next project. You should make a "viewer interactive project". Pick a car with a huge aftermarket of affordable new and used parts and let viewers send you new or used aftermarket parts they might have laying around and install them for a shout-out. Would be interesting to see what a finished product would look like when a thousand different visions come together on a single build. Could be ugly or could be beautiful 😉

The Civic looks so much better now Adam, it's amazing what a difference you can make to the look of a car by just a few simple mods plus I would say that you have added more value to the car than it cost to do it. Here in the UK we are not allowed to change the instrument cluster if it will alter the mileage of the car as it's logged each year when it goes in for it's MOT, if it's less or not consistent then it will fail it's MOT and you may face prosecution, it can be good thing as when you buy a used car you can check online the MOT and mileage history of the car to see if someone is trying to rip you off🤔🙏👍John UK.

another few nice interior add ons would be a dash cover… it will protect from cracking and reduce any glare/make the windshield clearer. you can also get a 1st gen crv/ap1 s2000/7th gen civic si steering wheel for an OEM+ honda steering wheel. crv is the closest to the civic but if you got a jdm crv steering wheel its sporty like the s2k/si. last but not least is integra/crv seat swap… you can swap the rails from your stock seats onto the crv/teggy seats and get a better feeling/functioning seat overall.

You thought about colour matching the oem sideskirts? I think it would finish it off nicely. Would look more like the side profile matches in line with the bottom of the front bumper. Just my personal preference. Other than that, great job. Clean white wheels on a white car nearly ALWAYS looks so clean.

I hope you can see the needles on the CR-V cluster better in person than they showed on the camera cause I could barely see em at all! Rims came out great. That's the last gen civic I like, after that they started getting bigger and bigger and losing all their charm. A modern civic is bigger than my 04 Accord, wtf Honda.

K series is tricky because it can either be really cheap to swap but you'll have to hunt down all junkyard parts which takes a lot of time and research on what exactly is needed. OR EXPENSIVE if you buy all new aftermarket swap parts which is easy to find.
