I think,correct me if I am wrong, I guess this is the 2nd liquid cooled engine developed by Indian brand,after MOJO,Bajaj uses KTM and TVS uses BMW ..so great Job HERO..

If we examine closely we can see that this is 90% like the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 with the updates which bajaj never gave to that bike. If this bike can pull the top end speeds which the RS is capable of then this is gonna sell like hot cakes

Hero bringing what Yamaha brought to the masses around 2008-09. The figures are decent. The old-gen Karizma (R & ZMR) were known to be absolutely comfy lounges on road. Expect this to be the same too. Hero has known to tune the suspension quite well. Again, I don't think that the engine will be performance-oriented. It will have a good low & mid-range with lots of torque. A 6-speed gearbox is welcome, but a slip and assist clutch on a bike which definitely won't be a "sporty" doesn't make any sense, but "good-to-have" feature. As for navigation, I think the phone in the centre of the clip-on handlebar would be a much more reliable navigator. All in all, I do think Hero as a good product in Karizma. Would like to see if they put one in the showroom for TR. P.S: I had to forward the video as the launch was slowly frying my brain. Now I have to make egg bhurji. #HeroKarizma #WithACupOfTea

But the peak torque comes at 7.5k rpm. Will it have a reliable low end torque?

Looks of Karizma XMR is Superb 👌. But I will prefer Hero Xtreme 200s 4v as following things I didn't like in Karizma XMR. 1) Liquid Cooled Engine & Max RPM 9250 which means less engine life. 2) USD fork (Telescopic is preferred for Indian Roads) 3) 6 Gears (5 gears preferred on Indian roads) 4) Only 11 litre Fuel Tank (should be atleast 12.8 as Xtreme 200r & 200s) 5) No Main Stand, No Saree Guard 6) No Kickstart 7) 210 cc (I expected 223cc) 8) No mention of Compatibility with E20 Petrol I also had Karizma R 2008 model. I sold in 2018 after split of Hero & Honda and bike was discontinued already in 2013. Now I own Hero Xtreme 200r. Still riding smooth. l installed Windscreen & Hand Guards to look like Touring Motorcycle ❤

Well this will sell in good numbers, there are good no of buyers who really dont care about engine figures, performance and all they will just buy it for the price and looks, currently at this price point there is nothing new in market in sports bike category so for what hero is offering at this pricing get ready to see atleast 10 bikes on road everytime you are out.

RC 200 is 160kg, Karizma is 163Kg RC 200 Engine Compression Ratio is 13.5:1, Karizma's 12:01 RC is 3 kgs Lighter than this, Better Engine Compression Ratio, better power to weight ratio, so I think it'll still be faster than the Karizma but let's be optimistic till someone rides it

@sabert009 RC 200 3kg हल्की है क्योंकि उसमे Extra 60,000 रुपए जो हम लोगों से KTM Company ले रही है उन्हीं रुपयों से उन्होंने RC को हल्का बनाया है, करिज्मा नहीं ले रही तुमसे वो 60,000, भले ही करिज्मा का वजन 3 kg ज्यादा है RC से, फिर भी करिज्मा का Power to weight ratio RC 200 से 0.19 ज्यादा ही है, RC 3kg हल्की है और Compression Ratio भी करिज्मा से ज्यादा है, फिर भी RC 200 का पावर 0.50 कम है करिज्मा से। RC की सबसे बड़ी खासियत ये है कि वो @10000 तक Rev कर जायेगी, लेकिन करिज्मा @9250 तक ही कर पाएगी। लेकिन असली बात तो ये है की करिज्मा की टक्कर RC से है ही नही, उनकी टक्कर तो Bajaj की RS 200 से है भाई।
