Excellent work. Very under the radar looking style and works for a daily driver. I’m old school, I prefer annoying in your face big old round roof lights. A big old style bulky looking roof basket. The vehicle would look like a rugged off-road vehicle from afar. But if I ever wanted a inconspicuous off road vehicle, I would definitely do it this way for sure.😊🎉

Very CLEAN install. The OEM switch is top shelve touch. The transformation from a OEM Crosstrek to a Northwest edition looks so rugged.

Just got my front runner rack for my crosstrek. Thinking about going the same route as y’all with the butyl tape and rubber washers as sealant. Has it held up well for y’all? Any issues?

Oh man, I don’t recall off the top of my head… I want to say 3/4” - 1” on the washers. I’ll check with my brother and see if he remembers since he bought them

Question: I think I’ve decided my next vehicle will be a Crosstrek, however I’m kinda bummed that Subaru doesn’t offer a trim level with the WRX turbo 4 engine. Does the n/a boxer have enough power for a slight off roading build like this? Also, I’m not big on CVT’s either but a manual is out of the question for a guy with two fake knees like me lol

The turbo engine would definitely be sweet in the Crosstrek platform! That being said, the addition of the 2.5 in addition to the 2.0 makes a big difference. That’s what this car has and it’s night and day.

HELP. I'm looking to completely delete the roof rails on my crosstrek. Looking for how i should go about pluging holes and installing trim in the roof chanels to make it look factory like. And ideas or resources would help. Please and Thank you!

I'm not sure about the trip replacement, but I'd imagine plugging the holes with butyl, washers and bolts as we did here wouldn't be a bad way to go!
