Unfortunately, Libertas (the bot featured in this video) has announced today that they are shutting down the bot on November 12th, 2023. I went over how to setup a few things with this bot in the last segment of the video, 22:27 - 28:24. I have a different video out on a great alternative you can use, Sapphire, which can be found here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/onW6g2Ceaph-pas . This should be more than enough to get you a good utility bot setup in your server, and I even cover a bit more in that video than I did in this one!

Just found your video. I can usually set up a server but I'm slow so this is good for step by step so I don't forget things as I can just watch it alongside my server creations. You wouldn't happen to have an updated MEE6 Tutorial would you? Haven't messed with that bot yet and I'm sure they've added things over the years. Every server I have been in has a MEE6 bot. @@ChrisOnRockyTop I done have one for mee6 no. I usually don't recommend it to people anymore because it's SO limited on features unless you are willing to pay for premium. If you are looking for a great free solution, Sapphire that I have linked in the pinned comment here is the best in terms of feature value for free. If you are willing to pay, mee6 does have the biggest feature library, but it's just all locked behind a paywall nowadays.

If you don't want to write out word by word of discord rules here are some main ones: 1) Be respectful This means no mean, rude, or harassing comments. Treat others the way you want to be treated. 2) No inappropriate language Use of profanity should be kept to a reasonable minimum. Any derogatory language towards any user is prohibited. Swearing is permitted in casual channels only, while the official help and code channels should be kept free of any profane language. 3) No spamming Do not send a lot of small messages right after each other. These disrupt chat and make it hard to scroll through the server. Please keep your messages at least 5 words long while chatting. 4) No pornographic/adult/other NSFW material The idea behind the server is to provide a safe place for us to share art, videos, and other kinds of creative material - not to share the aforementioned NSFW material. 5) No advertisements No invasive advertising, whether it be for other communities or streams. You can post your content in the media channel if it’s relevant and provides actual value for the community. 6) No offensive names and profile pictures Keep your names and profile picture appropriate. 7) Server Raiding Server raiding is against the Discord terms of service. Any attempt to circumvent or bypass them can result in a permanent ban. 8) Threats are forbidden Threats are prohibited and disallowed. 9) Follow the Discord Community Guidelines Respect the general Discord Community guidelines. 10) No racism

Hey @Gehsture! Love this video man! Thank you! I'm setting up a server for my work, but am trying to figure out if there's a way to send out mass invites, 10,000 for an example (our company has over 40,000 members). It looks like Discord would see that as spam and its a new server so I assume this isn't possible. I know I can send out up to 100 invites at once with one link, but trying to control who uses them and gets in seems problematic. Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions? Thanks so much in advance bud!
