Picked up this game about a year ago and I do not regret getting this game as a Dbz fan this game is a breath of fresh air and unique. I don’t play fighting games and to be honest this is the first fighting game that I’ve dedicated this much time in too I feel like i learn something new every time I hop on and I’m not nowhere near the top level yet I love how this game is well balanced and almost all the characters if not all are viable Exception: videl and goku black cough cough* Nonetheless I’m glad I’ve decided to try this game and I’m looking forward to the last two characters reveals and season 4 if not a new dbz fighters 2

The context of that video was that because of the ranked game changes giving people more points per win at higher ranks, people started ranking up faster and/or started getting a higher rank than they would if the rank changes hadn’t of happened. Most super saiyan gods and living legends were able to get to 2-4 ranks higher. This meant ranked became mixed with more bad players at higher levels. And when I say bad I mean above average we’re starting to play experts. So all in all to Globku it seemed as if players he was fighting had gotten worst since the patch. But no, what happened was more lower ranked players got to his rank and was fighting him, they weren’t prepared to fight him therefore it was easy.

This is a great guide, but the problem I have when playing this game is I don't know the actual button commands to extend a combo. Take Bardock at 5:45. How is he able to keep that combo going? Whenever I do try to do a combo in the air, I get like two hits and then the combo drops. How is Bardock able to land all of his hits in the air without dropping and then at 5:48 continue even further to combo? This is the ultimate thing that has made me so distant from the game. I feel like the tutorial doesn't do a good job at telling me how do it. People make it look easy. I know it's because they've practiced, but I don't need help finding really high tech combos like that. That is something I need to find on my own. I just need that little push. How do I extend a combo in the air or on the ground in a similar fashion to what Bardock did in a button format (not a word format)? And just an extra question, is it better to use the control stick or the D-pad? I have a hard time pulling off quarter circles and I didn't know if there is just a universal way that everyone does it. Whenever I watch matches, even if the players aren't experts, they almost always seem to get their quarter circles down perfectly without error
@theprovlder4 жыл бұрын
They've a thing called the dojo in season 3. I guess the developers realized that their tutorial was not that good. It is basically like a mega tutorial that teaches you everything that there is to know about this game, you should try it!
@sworddash23654 жыл бұрын
So assuming you're not doing the sideswitch, and just an average combo, it's usually quick. (I'm also going to assume you're using a character like bardock). So after you do your down medium and normal medium (2m-5m), you jump, light, hold medium, and then down heavy. After you superdash, light, hold medium, down heavy, then jump cancel into a light then hold medium again, and heavy. These only work with characters like Bardock, Krillin, and Kefla. Otherwise then yesh that's it.

You think where getting a second one or this one is built upon for another year or years also is thier a way to not get frustrated Example:When you know your health from one follow ups and assists drains from 100% to 80%. So you guard and yet you still gets mixed qnd loses with in 3 mins its a guarantee with gt goku,ui goku,every broly and geynu it gets annoying very quick. Also I understand the mechanics but when lag compensation and frame traps and also being clipped in mid air by heavy tracking. When the hit box isn't even made to reach that distance

i wish someone would make a video about the ACTUAL mechanics of the game like why combos drop how many smash attacks do you get the amount of scaling on each hit. The actual mechanics that make the game.
@kostisvidalis43663 жыл бұрын
Combos Drop because of Hit Stun Decay. (It exists so there won't be any infinite combos) You get one smash attack per combo. (And a second one if you wanna vanish) How much scaling each hit has is incredibly situational and is not that important. You should practise combos in training mode before performing them in an actual match.
