It's so rare to see players sharing their juicy techniques. That's definitely the best way to see a beautiful community growing up, sharing.

Khan Kross i just reached out to arc system works and to them PLEASE dont nerf those cool techs. It totally separates away from the MVC crowd. Its unique. That's the good and bad on tech secrets now. You share it. Then others abuse it and then the noobs cry to have it nerfed smh
@DutchHeathen6 жыл бұрын
This isn't really 'tech' as much as it is an explanation of the core game mechanics. They won't nerf this, don't you worry. Tech is generally some little obscure thing that someone discovered and works in a specific circumstance (unblockables, for example). Also, I don't know much about how it is in other gaming communities, but sharing tech is what the FGC do. So yeah, not rare at all. :)

D The Chemist Sorry to burst your bubble but 90% of the cool tech in this game, minus the dragon balls, is straight up lifted from Marvel vs Capcom games.

Also this game has some mechanics ath MvC2 had...if you hold down one of your assist button during the loading screen displaying your team, you can pick that assist char to start first. Keep in mind you have to hold it down moments after seeing the screen appear as it takes long to register. You'll know it worked when you hear a sound effect. I will say its hard to use it online because of lag but it does work.

Great video. One detail you are missing on sparking in video is that it lets you dash forward after air ki blasts. As well as also jump from ground ki blasts, but that falls under normals. Ah... And the depth starts being revealed layer by layer... This makes me happy. I've been having lots of conversations about the ease of accessibility this game has and it's left a bad taste in some people's mouths... But this is going to change that a bit. At the least it's going to show that whatever taste they have has a hint of an afterglow they did not expect. Some flavors grow on you. Some aromas need time to build in your glass to get it right.

Excellent video with very important information! I do want to offer one small correction though. In the sparking blast section you mentioned calling an assist in order to do a crossup. Unfortunately, this game has cross-up protection from assists. If you call an assist and cross up your opponent, your opponent can hold back OR forward, and they will successfully block the mixup. The one single exception is Piccolo's homing assist. Once Piccolo has exited from doing his assist, you can use the homing orb to cross up your opponent. If he is still present, the cross-up protection will work as normal. Keep the vids coming man. I'm going to be linking these to my friends.

IT'S HALF CIRCLE. THANK YOU. Heard of the instant tag super before release but tried with quarter circles and just got assists or tags. Thought they removed the mechanic lol..
@AngelsFGC6 жыл бұрын
Lol, Quarter circle still works for me.

Sol Shock don’t lie to me, tried that for so long. Haven’t tried half yet though, maybe I was just missing the timing.. NAH
@AngelsFGC6 жыл бұрын
Qiwi It was probably missed/slow timing, because it's possible to do without even using a quarter circle by just hitting the assist button.
@Qiwi946 жыл бұрын
Sol Shock Wait, are we both talking about using ally super without using a super with your point character first?

Qiwi yeah

what i dont undersant, is , why i have to seek this basic knowlegde outside of the game, why don't the game just teach this in some sorte of advanced training mode?
@Kinoli6 жыл бұрын
I think because maybe the people who just wants to do supercombos and things like that (it's totally acceptable that you don't want to spend your time learning combos) probably find this information excessive. They're not going to use it anyways.

@Marky D So they don't know you can hold reflect to do a new animation, and also do stuff with it? Seems like too much work was put in that for it to be a thing they didn't know. Maybe they just forgot to put in the tutorial
@DantesInferno965 жыл бұрын
For one, they won't be used by most people who play online or hard modes. Such people stick to minimal basic combos and exploit them over and over to get a feel of them and gain victory over their opponent. Very few people actually use all of the combos in this game. Tbfh, most people just spam Kamehameha and other supers or beams.

Awesome man. Note: Comboing into spark keeps them in a stun state. Sparking by them with no combo pushes them back. :)
