Built a drift polestar with all drift parts while it’s on brake to drift. It doesn’t go all over the place like other cars. It’s almost the same as paybacks drifting

Still havent found a build that lets you link corners. The 'drifting' in this game is basically just powersliding corners, if you try to link corners or drift side to side on straights to keep the drift going the physics just shit themselves and you either wont turn out of your drift or you will randomly shift off to the side a bit.

Fully built RX7 with speedcross suspension, drag tires, and pro drift differential is a good way to link corners if you can decently drift

Try this: showcase and drift parts or a mix of both until the handling is in the botton right corner, use a roots supercharger, max steering sens and lowest downforce, manual transmission and drift with brake. also put the gearbox that gives you max acceleration.

Build needed? Yes. Most importantly it seems that with your build it shows I have massive skill issue with drifting which is why I shall stick to off-road. Still satisfying to make a drifting-offroad hybrid build though.

My build is on the 69 Dodge Charger and it’s 2 blue speed cross parts and for the diff it’s a green drift part. It makes it drift like the general lee😂

Okay, so literally found this as the first video on tips. This helped so much I went from not being able to drift, to literally drifting my Mazda with ease. Me and by brother made the car with all drift parts, and we couldnt figure out how to drift. Thank you for showing me how, also the parts I use to drift my Mazda, that works for me is a Showcase suspension Super, and a pro Speed Cross Differential.

I've been using slight offroad balanced tuning for all my cars, and they handle and drift well. Speed and acceleration definitely are affected but not that much. Trust me, my cars with this tuning work great onroad and offroad. Again, my personal taste

You should have talked about Gearbox and Turbos also. I gound that using roots and screw supercharger is actually better for keeping redline so your car can have more rpm and gearbox can alter at what speeds you can drift on the gear you prefer depending on the gearbox you are using (eg 5 gearbox you can drift at 120kmh+ in RX7 while with 6 gearbox you have to use 3rd gear more than 2nd)

I've used every tire in the game for drifting. None give you the ability to power over or the acceleration needed to perform this well. I got this score on Birdseye weeks ago. But my question is... Your camber and stance tuning. That makes a bigger difference than your live tuning from personal experience. And not one video of hippos or other heat players videos have that information. It's all about the parts and live tuning. But that's not all the info needed for a proper build. Yet no one shows that info.

I know the exact reason why Drag tires work better. All tires except for drag have friction scalars applied to them so it works against the drift. drag tires are the only ones that don't. i figured this out by looking into the files. I plan to make a mod that removes this from the drift tires to make them better

@@Fluffystuff-js6gf i completely disagree, the camber does not change anything, i tested this and looked in the files, the cambers do not change anything physics-wise only the angle of the tire. i can confirm from experience that drag tires do drift better. drag tires give you more acceleration and don't have friction scalar applied to them, I know this because i looked in the files.

For one you just repeated what I said about drag tires. I've been using them to drift since day 1 of release. And 2 I know from personal experience that you're wrong on camber and obviously you don't know about physics and it has always made a difference in nfs games that have the option.
