Are you running the tracks into the Rhythm a quick explanation of the set up would be appreciated not a lot of set up videos out there eg mixers and midi and such . Some lovely drops in this bro and i feel like u could have stretched this out to 40 min with longer phrasing which would be awesome. Big love😊

I was rockin the rhythm and tracks as the center of my larger synth setup until I recently got a good price on a used akai force. While not as immediate as the circuit, it's insane how powerful it is as w sequencer/brain/sampler

Yes I agree. I have launch control xl but have not managed to figure out how to do cc mapping. It's possible but not so straight forward from the manual

Great music, and inspirational use of the two devices. I have both, and love how they sound. I only wish there was a way to synchronize scene changes via midi. Do you think this might have made it easier to assemble and perform your set, or would it make no difference?

Thanks! And yes, I think it would be helpful. Project switching gets you most of the way there, although there are a couple of possible bugs I've encountered that I'll go over in the eventual walkthrough video.

Sounds great! Do you think having a master clock feeding both the Tracks and the Rhythm might solve the latency issue between the units, I know midi introduces some latency. When midi first was introduced, you had to be careful how many keyboards and devices you daisy chained because it would introduce latency.

Possibly, although it would kill the sync'd project switching, which while buggy, is still one of the main perks of this setup

I'm leaning towards probably not if you want to route the audio of one into another, which introduces latency. A bunch of percussive tracks hitting a tad late wouldn't really work for me, although you could send the audio of both to a mixer.

Hi Gabe, some noob question here, hope you can respond. How do you sync the two circuits? Are they connected via midi? If i understand correctly, you can control a pattern at a time with the Circuit Tracks via midi, and you have to switch the different channel on the rhythm itself, is it right?

I've got a full video talking through the setup on the way, but the quick version is that the Rhythm is the one doing the controlling, and any project switches on the Rhythm also happen on the Tracks.

Thanks! I used an existing A Force Truly Evil pack as the basis for the pack on the Tracks, and the Rhythm stuff is all custom (mostly sounds from Splice).
