You can also group same kind of sound in the channel rack by selecting the sounds or vst by holding shift + left mouse button and press ALT+G to create a group and name them what those sounds have in common (Ex. leads,percs.etc.) and it would be much easier creating a bus in mixer channel by selecting them all and routing them into the mixer channel

I love how Savage Sounds is combing lessons and experiences form many different people; Martin Garrix, Brooks, Laidback Luke, RetroVision. He is also making everything very simple so we can understand it better. As usual, dope and helpful video!! Keep working hard and do more tutorials and upload more content and trust me, you will have 50K subscribers in no time.

Finally someone who doesn’t put each lead and pluck and pad etc on a different channel, that’s sooo much work😅
@KyWild3 жыл бұрын
If you have that many lead layers you almost have to process at least some of them individually with eq or you'll just get a ton of phasing problems (that you could also hear in the preview track in the middle of this video). Ofc you could use your synths built-in eq but that just feels more difficult to organize than keeping it on separate channels before grouping.

Great Video! You really help new producers a lot to lose their fear of mixing i guess!! 21:47 Just one little hint: Actually there are a lot of professional Engenieers who use 2 Compressors so that both of them can share the work, that can result in a smoother compression with less pumping.
