As the two titans stand tall at Monster Zero’s original prison, both look at each other, preparing for battle. Godzilla was not going to have help in this fight, as he turns and sees the wounded Kong and dead titans as well as military vehicles ablaze, he know what he must do. He must beat this evil incarnate. The humans could only watch as they fought, Destroyah kept tossing and slicing at Godzilla while he manages to get a few hits and an atomic breath. His new evolved state is however allowing him to catch up to it. This would change when the red monstrosity sliced at his chest sending Godzilla flying. The titan lay there and remembered his life, gaining territory, fighting Monster Zero twice and other titans, maintaining order, battling the first Titan. He was destined to win. Godzilla got up and charged at him. As time went by, the sun rose upon the battlefield and Godzilla stood, wounds everywhere and with Destroyah’s head on the floor with his horn in it’s skull. Godzilla let out an echoing roar, reaching every corner on Earth. And soon, there were no more to maintain order. Except one. Kong rose up from the snow later and gazed at the sight, he saw his old rival now ally on the floor, dead. And so the last titan sat with him until he left. Deep within the Hollow Earth however, in the large ocean in one part, dorsal plates rose from the water and shun blue. Perhaps there is hope.

I feel like it’s gonna be a crime on Legendary and Toho’s part to not include Destroyah as the Monsterverse’s “Final Boss” for the community. But to be honest we need more titans from Godzilla’s past. Sure Behemoth, Scylla, the Mutos, and others are cool being new, but we haven’t really gotten to see them at their full potential, and I love classic Kaiju like Anguirus, Baragon, and Varan. Once the Primordials were extinct, the great parasites emerged from their corpses, leaving the Titans as their only threat, being the perfect size to fight on their level. When we viewed the hieroglyphics of these parasites, their hellish silhouettes matched that of the very creature Godzilla was now facing. This threat was indeed the parasite, the corrupter, the destroyer. And so Monarch has given them the designation, ‘Titanus Destoroyah’. Probably in response to the Monsterverse making Godzilla even bigger. Godzilla in Monsterverse is about as big as Destroyah was in the original and Destroyah was three times bigger than Godzilla originally.
