The Knarr looks sick! Can't wait to get my hands on one!

It is definitely a fishing machine!

I have a Jackson Big Tuna. Very versatile kayak but heavy also not as heavy as the Knarr but still a chunk at 104 lbs. I am going to invest in a Crescent Shoalie. Love to see you review that kayak I think it would be right up your alley. I know it’s up mine as most of my fishing is in the river. Great channel and great reviews Enjoyable!!😁

My first time Kayaking and this Kayak held strong. kzbin.infoUgkx4k5UrhC3v_Y4hIEaXLGvHcN5a5aBmZNB The water got pretty rough as a speed boat zipped by me, and the Kayak withstood it (I expected to be capsized). The Ores are very easy to put together, the pump worked beautifully. the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor). after reading the reviews I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable. The Air valve may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to adjust, other than that, it's well worth the money!(update)I've gone Kayaking in 3 Lakes and 2 rivers totaling about 40 miles. the kayak had two holes and they patched easily and no other problems can't wait for kayaking season this year!

While it is expensive this is a kayak that will last a long time, even a lifetime if you take care of it. Unlike a boat, you won’t be throwing up $50+ every time you go out, while it won’t be as fast, it can handle those 10 mile offshore trips, AND the super shallow river trips. To get a boat that can do both you’re looking at a flats boat which are generally more expensive than a regular 17ft V hull. To take care of the weight, having a set of wheels pretty much eliminates that for someone who can pick up 1 side, this is not a car topping kayak though! In my mind this is the best kayak in the market even over the PA14 360, solely for the instant reverse, AND kick up prop drive, if you’re fishing shallow weeds then that’s where a fin style drive will be better If I had to pick a second kayak to handle those weedy situations, Vibe Shearwater. For anyone thinking of buying ANY kayak, TEST THEM OUT FIRST!

Looking for a peddle kayak that's a very standing-stable boat for fly fishing only. I fish only about 1/week from the beach on Sanibel or in the mangroves. I'm 71 and very fit. Don't know if this is a pedal kayak I should consider. Are there others I should consider? THANK YOU!

With its high sides and gear tracks is the Knarr a knuckle shredder when paddling?
@joshuaevans592 жыл бұрын
Not at all. The seat sits up high enough that there is plenty of clearance when paddling.
@PaddleTV2 жыл бұрын
I had no problems with my knuckles, because the sitting position is so high.

I've got a Jackson cuda FD, a few years older now. I love it, but I wouldn't buy it at that price, that's insane. That's getting damn close to hobie PA with a 360 drive price. And if you want sportscar level stearing, then go use one of those and you'll be sold. Those 360 drive kayaks are insane how well they stear. That is sportscar level stearing in a kayak. Also, you're now competing with a 12'+ tinner with a 9.9 on the back, as you can have that for a similar price as well. I'm a huge kayak angling fan, but even I have to admit that spending over $5k CAD on a kayak when you still have all of the disadvantages of a boat (trailer, weight, price, can't portage, etc) seems a bit crazy.

Agree about the weight, 140pds to much, I'm 54yrs old I like kayaks to around 100pds, when you have to buy a kayak trailer for a $4000 kayak it gets too expensive! You might as well buy a boat/trailer, cause your creeping up in those used boat prices!
@imperialwhovian34619 ай бұрын
Yeah but then you get those used boat/motor problems which can get very expensive very quickly

I think a lot depends on how much you can get for one used. If they hold their value well, and you can garage it, the price might be more bearable.

Still not even close to a Hobie PA
@darrylmuse99482 жыл бұрын
I agree love my PA 14
@imperialwhovian34619 ай бұрын
How so? The FD is better in many ways and the boat itself is closely patterned after the PA, seems more like buyers regret for getting a PA
@98kouki1232 жыл бұрын
$4200 lmao. Yeah right that’s insane. I bought a 16’ 48” Jon boat for a $1000 less than that
@imperialwhovian34619 ай бұрын
Yeah but you still had to outfit it, how much did that cost?

Get a Hobie outback or Hobie pa 14. This thing seems silly
@imperialwhovian34619 ай бұрын
How? It's patterned after the hobie pa so if the knarr is silly so is the hobie, but the FD is better all around, instant reverse, don't have to mess with taking the drive out when going through very shallow waters where you might be scraping bottom. Honestly the hobie doesn't offer anything this doesn't
