Welcoming staff and students #BackToSchool, the Cajon Valley Union School District - in conjunction with the El Cajon Police Dept, Heartland Fire & Rescue, and hundreds of community members including council members from El Cajon, California - convened a flash mob to music from the hit movie Grease at the El Cajon Car Show on Main Street, El Cajon . Celebrating the new school year and a joint community mission: Making Cajon Valley the best place to live, work, play, and raise a family.

We teachers at the high school where I taught dressed up at Halloween. One year I made the complete 50s costume with poodle skirt, saddle shoes, neck scarf and even the sweater clip my sister wore in the 50s. The kids had no idea what my costume was supposed to be.
