I camp south of where you stayed. I know the hurricanes this past season really changed the islands. Sounds like you experienced it as well with where you were camping. Glad you guys didn't get flooded.

Go to harbor freight and buy the tent spikes. They are heavy duty 10 inch and under $10. Awesome trip 👍

Merry Christmas bro. Looks like that was a fun family trip. I got my daughter in town. She wants to catch a shark. Any suggestions where we should try? Cape Coral/ st james. /sanibel area. Thanks

I honestly havent seen much sharks around. The occasional bonnet head or baby bull on the flats. No big ones.

I am pretty sure I know exactly where you were. It is a great place to camp. The more important thing is giving your kids that experience. Thats something they will always remember. Theres plenty of time to do more fishing but the kids hopefully will remember that camping trip!🤟🤟💪💪😎
