0:52 I'm curious??? The silver colored aluminum block next to the "L" arm piston that is located closest to the camera, is the purpose for that just a distribution block?? I'm guessing it takes hydro fluid coming in from the pump, in which is routed thru rubber pressure hoses, then it would go thru the aluminum block(in which I'm asking about) & out to the steel hoses & into the piston?? If I am correct about it being a distribution block, I would assume you use that as a better, more secure connection point, for the steel lines & rubber pressure hoses, but IDK.....I'm only guessing what the features & benefits of that block is?? Thanks & another fantastic product DW.

Bill Blast that's a check valve. External check valve. Some manufacturers incorporate a check valve built into the cylinder. With that method if the cylinder for check goes bad, you must replace both. With our external check valve, if the cylinder or check valve goes bad you can replace only the faulty unit. Not Hoth.

Good design but try that on a 4x4 and watch how fast you get sued for damages to the truck.

Gotcha! Thanks for the input. Just for the record we were just test lifting not moving her around. But your right...for sure! Don't move a 4 wheel drive vehicle around w/ out dollies...thanks again!
