Which French Toast do you prefer? Mine is definitely the fried banana version!
@CarmenIsabelRocha3 жыл бұрын
Estou muito tentada a experimentar a de banana frita. Todas parecem deliciosas (como tudo o que a Amalie cozinha!) :D A única coisa que me fez confusão foi a filmagem: muito rápida e brusca. Será da câmara de filmar? Deixou-me um pouco tonta. :/

I eat mostly plant-based/vegan but wanted to support your new cooking channel since I like the other one so much. When I get the French toast itch I could veganize the banana recipe with “Just Egg” and vegan butter by Miyoko’s Kitchen. Great inspiration. You are doing nice work here. Congrats on the new channel!

Amelia~ Greetings from Chicago~~ My husband and I are hooked on your vlogs. This morning we tried fried bananas on our homemade protein waffles!!! Next level my Giiirrrrrl. Stay classy XOXO

A nice tip is to put a lid on top on the frying pan so the cheese melts better. The bread will still be crispy.

I wish that I could hit the "like" button a thousand times! ❣ Amazing and hunger inducing! I especially loved when you talked about the ham & cheese one, (how it's delicious when hungover,...if you "feel like cooking"!) 🤣 I'm sure many of us can relate! Another homerun for Amalie and Joen! 👌

Congratulations on this new channel! It's GREAT, just like everything you guys usually do. Just a note: agave syrup isn't the same as honey ;) One is made by honeybees, while the other comes from the blue agave. Keep up the AMAZING work you do!

Again a brilliant video and some nice colourful food but I can't help feeling that you're determined to elevate the humble breakfast into an 'extreme sport', be interesting to see if one of your recipes makes it into the next Olympics! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next, take care

The sweet ones are a bit of me. Both looked so delicious, I can not wait to try and make them both. Loved the tip about using thicker bread and I might have to fry some bananas to go on my porridge tomorrow (feel like I need to be healthy for the week to treat myself to the French toast on the weekend)

My mother always adds milk to the batter too, but it sometimes leves the bread kinda sucky. I never do it as I want the surface to be super crispy. Hope you like the banana edition. It's SO good.

Have you ever tried French toast in the oven? Made in a large glass dish, prepared the night before and baked in the morning? It has a brown sugar and butter bottom layer that carmalizes like with Pineapple Upsidedown Cake! So good and serves 6 people! Thanks for inspiration, Amelia - making the savory one for lunch today!

Aloha from Hawaii. Hawaii Island.(aka-The Big Island). Too Funny with thousands of varieties of bananas across the Pacific, I’d never tried Bananaʻs cooked up in a fry pan, but now I’ll have to try some of the sweeter ones. We use Hawaiian Sweet Bread here, its light, always sliced thickly, and can be plain (almost a white/yellow bread); guava (pink bread) or Taro (a local root which makes Hawaiian Poi, more deliciously a wonderful sweet bread!, which is purple colour). Around the world, local honeys vary based on regional flowers the bees prefer. Again in mid Pacific, its a kiawe honey, white & very thick, albeit now we know the plants are invasive, its time to use alternatives I think Rosemary honey from Portugal would be fantastic! Enjoy & thank you for your fun foodie videos.
