I rarely play ganesha, but a good tip I have is to think of his ult as a diamond instead of a square. So try to put one of the corner of the ult on top of the enemy god, instead of just putting a side of the square. If done correctly the enemy is body blocked by the wall, making it harder to escape. Just a .5 sec more time where the enmy is trapped is insane value. Also remember that you can dash through your ult's walls, because they're also player made walls. Hope this helps!

Couple tips of my own which are pretty obvious would be: If you're chasing someone and they're running in a straight line, try to land one of the side edges on your ult. That way they run along it or get body blocked by the pillar. Hard to hit, but the pay out is worth the extra slows, dmg, and body block. Also if your see a Merc ulting out or in, place your ult down in his trajectory. It will still hurt or kill him. I've secured many kills against Merc this way, even saving my carry before Merc's ult reaches them. Oh and final tip. Ganesha is the best Guardian in the whole game.

Ganesha is a team fight god. Place your alt accordingly! It combos great with a Fenrir ult. Fen can grab the enemy on the line and spin around in circles really fast. Racks up INSANE damage. Also, Janus portals count as leaving the ring so if you drop your ult, Janus can portal them out and do some stupid damage too. Anyone with a pull can pull people back into your ring so they take damage again. Your alt can also be used defensively. Place it in between obstacles/walls in the jungle if you have a teammate being chased. This can deter the enemy from continuing to chase. You don't have any peel for team fights so look to lock down someone in their backline with an ohm or dash and help secure those kills. Also, make sure your ADC knows about the buff from your 1. Communicate with them on when they are going in and make sure you get the 1 off first.

When you do the Ult Dash combo you can also walk under them when they’re in the air to body block them onto the line for more damage. In general just use the dash when enemies are against walls to body block them from going where they want to go

Good guid. One thing I always try to do and you didn't mention with his ult is try to place it front of enemy (expect where they will be running) vs trying to cage them in the center. this way they will have to beads the first hit and by the time by the time they try to get out of the cage you can cc them there or just cc them inside the cage and always don't dash when they are hit with your ult, they get slowed and you can cc them once you are close enough.

I always 1 and drop Ultimate on Fire giant and Gold furry to burn it as quickly as possible with the team and activate belt of frenzy if I have it in my relics slot

Is building spectral armor worth? I never see people building it even against some crit builds but some people spam for me for it

I am a noob. I have tried every role with multiple characters and by far my favorite god is support Ganesha. His abilities allow me to help the team in a clearly impactful way in fights and I don't feel like he's as meta item dependent as some other gods. Plus I don't mind ending the game with 1 kill and 41 assists on 70 total team kills lol.

I like the healing items. I like the antiheal items. I like the idea of antishield items, but GoI is just weird while Envenomed being a glyph just feels terrible. I hate that they removed the crit antiheal item in Shadowsteel. We need more crit items in general, in my opinion, and I for one hate being crit down. I think that anticrit items can be a thing - not just Spectral, but a category. I like the added utility to the healers, but the scaling should not have been removed. The problem was the bases and the scaling were both too high. You should not be able to heal so much as a tank, and that's what they did. It makes no sense to me, and I love healer characters. Aphrodite granting jealousy with her ult makes no sense to me, and the active cooldown decrease is unnecessary to me. Hel's infinite mana is just ridiculous.
