ABOUT LADYBUGS (HIPPODAMIA CONVERGENS):
Preventative care is key!
Hippodamia convergens are native ladybugs found throughout the USA! NaturesGoodGuys (a.k.a. Soldier Bugs) pre-fed Ladybugs are the best general predator in any organic garden, greenhouse, grow room, patio, rooftop garden, interiorscape, or anywhere that pests exist.
Ladybugs do the work for you. Release them into the desired area and watch them defeat bad bugs that damage your plants.
Support your backyard ecosystem! See improvements in the health of your plants without introducing harmful chemical pesticides.
Maximize your harvest - healthy plants produce more.
Natural, organic, sustainable, and kid/pet friendly.
TARGET PESTS:
Ladybugs are natural predators to aphids, mealybugs, spider mites, thrips, and many other soft-bodied insects.
LADYBUG LIFE-CYCLE:
Egg: 2-5 days | Larvae: 21 days | Pupa: 7 days | Adult: 1 year
RELEASE RATES:
LIGHT INFESTATION:
Release 1 ladybug per square foot, monthly.
MODERATE INFESTATION:
Release 1 ladybug per square foot, bi-weekly, 2-3 times.
HEAVY INFESTATION:
Release 1 ladybug per square foot, weekly, 2-4 times.
HOW TO RELEASE:
Release ladybugs in the early morning, evening, or on a cloudy day when the temperatures are cooler.
Mist leaves to improve ladybug habitat. Misting the foliage beforehand may improve performance. With ample food and moisture, ladybugs can begin to reproduce immediately.
Release ladybugs at the base of the plants.
Release multiple times throughout the growing season to stay ahead of the pest lifecycle.
STORAGE:
For best results, store ladybugs in original shipping box between 34-45°F for no longer than two weeks. Refrigerate, do not freeze.

Hello, I have a question with your lacewings food mix. It says that 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of the powder and make a paste. I just wanna ask about the consistency coz it didn't make a paste. It's very liquidy. I just wanna make sure I made a correct consistency coz I dont want the newly hatched larvae go hungry. I got 5k of eggs and already hatched and started crawling.

Hello, you can use it as a paste or a more liquid consistency and spray it on your plants, either is ok!

@@naturesgoodguys3353 Leaving in search of food is not an option. I’m using a grow tent in my apartment. The grow tent is approximately 10.5 square ft. and 70 cubic ft. The grow tent has sage, basil, dill, thyme and oregano. The sage has been infected with white flies. I had ordered “150 Live Ladybugs / With Nectar” from your company. They should be arriving 9/25/24. I have no idea if I have light, moderate or heavy infestation. There is no way I can count these tiny critters. Assuming I have a moderate infestation I should “release 1 ladybug per square foot, bi-weekly, 2-3 times”. According to my calculations about 10 ladybugs should be released every 2 or 3 days. That would be 20 to 30 ladybugs a week. If I keep releasing 20 to 30 ladybugs every week sooner or later my grow tent would be overrun by lady bugs. I am currently using homemade sticky traps made from yellow construction paper and honey. I’m having low success with that. The sticky traps will be removed before the ladybugs are released into the grow tent. I’ll take a look at your “supplement diet” on your website.
