Tracker can be op, if you use perks like Adrenaline with it you can easily make it OP, instead of beeping all the time. One beep the tracker every time so the slasher wont find you due to it being loud. You can also tell slasher direction by turning on the tracker and going to a specific direction, the tracker beeps faster for example just go to a different direction other then that direction. One beeping exists in this game for the tracker so it isnt bad at all and just op if used properly.

When I first started playing Survive the night I didn't know what gear to use so I switched on Random gear and I experimented with each year before buying one. With all of them they failed to save me, apart from the Breathing Decoy. As a new player I survived so many rounds using the breathing Decoy, although now I don't use it I still remember how amazingly useful that gear is because it's so loud!

Yup. It is great to have at choke points. If you put the cctv in a good spot, you can tell which half of the map the slasher is in.

I actually love to lock the slasher in rooms with master keys. The quick recharge on the keys helps out a ton and the slasher will usually walk right into the room and then i just trap em and run.

I liked this tier list and its very good but the only thing i disagree with is the compass because its helpful in certain situations like completing tasks such as "collect relics" and "bonus tasks". Its also helpful if u want to grind points and goes very well with relic hunter it so it deserved a B. Again this is all my opinion and great job on the tier list keep it up.

Welp in my opinion, i agreed that compass should in be in the F tier bc if u remember all relics locations, the gear are now useless. But also in my opinion, cctv and tracker i will put it in B tier bc its actually based on how u use that gear and how u strategies it till 6AM. This is just on my opinion bc this gears helps me alot especially with a good perk combo.

while i agree that default night vision is trash, Murch's nightvision (without the perk) basically lets you see across the entire map on certain maps (graveyard, farmhouse, sundown heights etc). Which honestly makes me reckon its A

Ok for the compass that’s actually cap because rn you are talking about luck and not all ppl might be lucky to bump into relics. Dare I say the compass should be on bit higher tier bc you don’t need to waste time to turn the whole map upside down for relics and giving time for the slasher to whoop your ass. Just activate the compass, no relics in that area? Move on to another one before the slasher catches up to you

Compass is useless for both newbies and pros cuz for newbies it will be confusing cuz like the detecting relic is trash cuz i kept getting confused cuz like you think it will be there but once you get to it the compass arrow points up its like you need to get close to it to then it will show you the floor level its on oh and for pros its kinda useless cuz pros can memorize where all relics are even tho is not there but pros can still know more spots relics are so kinda useless

! OPINION WARNING ! I very much disagree with tracker. Just because it's the starter item doesn't mean it's F. You literally can tell where slasher is by stepping in every direction if the tracker picked up the slasher. And bro, that thing can be turned off if the slasher is near. Alright so I do agree with some and disagree with some. My tier-list: Situational: Compass The compass is purely for bonus task purposes and not surviving therefore it will not be listed. F:Tracker The tracker just makes a BEEP sound and notifies you when the slasher comes closer to you but when he is at a certain distance he can hear it. The old tracker (which is now murch's tracker w/ perk) was probably a B to A, since some people like me know what studs actually are. B:Night vision, Scrap Shield Night Vision is a gear that is somewhat map situational. However, I use Night Vision very often and I can basically see the other side of the map on certain maps, ex:Hospital, making it easier for me to spot breakers. Scrap Shield can be paired well with certain perks, like Fear Battery or that bulb perk where the lamp becomes a camera, it can create some pretty insane loops with both, mostly with fear battery though. A:CCTV, Camera, Hammer I personally believe that the CCTV is just underused. I have quite a lot of matches where I have used CCTV and I am nearby, but not next to it. From what I've seen, most people place CCTV next to them and use coward. I use it with any non-hiding breathing sound range, and I hide at a fairly far spot that you do not expect someone to be at. Like the shipyard for example. I have survived both blood moon and contagion on it because of a certain spot for the CCTV and myself. Enough rambling on about CCTV though. Camera is a good blind and I totally agree on what you said in the video. Same thing for hammer, I agree with what you said. The hammer is great for basically blocking off areas from the slasher. S:Road Flare, Bear Trap, Ghillie Road flare is absolutely DISGUSTING and I hate it. Didn't they think that it's just a camera improvement? It blinds you, makes you slow AND creates sound, blocking the breathing. Bear trap is a very good way to slow down the slasher, and a very good gear if you know what you are going to do and where. In the revenant cave, I believe you can place FOUR TRAPS. FOUR STUNS. This is one of the reasons why I use Nightfall. Yeah Ghillie is probably the best gear, however, before it goes off it makes a little sound cue which I use to my advantage.
