Depending on the area, yeah, they can. Back in the day, our local newspaper would would put them in the dumpster. They came to the facility in bundles and whatever wasn’t used or sold, was just put in the dumpster like that. I had a friend that worked there so that’s the only reason I know.

About 15 years ago, I lived in an area where a lot of mansions were. The people living around there would pick out the coupon inserts and take the flyers. I would come along and take the 30+ abandoned inserts. Unfortunately inserts aren’t made here anymore. Working makes more money than couponing so I don’t make the time for couponing like I used to.

TLC ruined it for these couponers, shoulda kept them a secret. Now most companies ban a lot of coupons and using them several times on the same item. No more using a manufacturer coupon plus a store coupon. Such a bummer. TLC snitched them out !

That girl is making her Family like (being generous) $20 grand in savings on groceries a year, when she could get an actual J-O-B...even a minimum wage job, that would contribute way more to her family. Couponing is a long term investment and is a full time job with little reward and pay. You have to spend money buying newspapers for coupons plus buy the item. As most places dont do rain checks half the time there already gond before the sale. So your really not saving like you think.

I really need an update on all these people today. Since they destroyed the couponing world with this show, how are the people that helped them fairing now I wonder? @@Teestar519 y’all taught to overuse detergent which ruins environment, washing machine AND your clothes and on top of that actually prevents them from being washed properly. Not even taking I to account all the skin conditions yall making urself susceptible to bc of that overexposure. I do laundry 2-4 times a month and my detergent bottle is one liter and it lasts me a year If my bottle was y’all’s size I could do laundry every day literally and still would last me around a year. In no universe is 70 bottles of that makes any sense for non-commercial use
