can you make a catalan video/study

The primary message seems to be to look a the resulting position, not to calculate points. In the advanced games at the end of the video, you assessed when black or white is better in less than a second without doing any calculations, but it wasn't obvious to me. I'd love to see a video that explains how you make those assessments so quickly.

Can you put examples so I know which positions you are refering to?

@@IMJonasPrado Bishop to F1 at the 29:39 timestamp. That move threatens a well-protected knight, so I don't see why black's position is so bad. I don't see any good attacks for black, but I also don't think white has any obvious advantages. I would have to perform calculations for a few minutes to evaluate the position. Are you just calculating faster than me or is there a different way of evaluating?

@dnnicoletti, it seems like this position relies heavily on instincts and understanding. The black position appears quite weak, allowing white the opportunity to gradually advance on the kingside. I'd suggest running the position through an engine to gain a deeper understanding of the ideas.
