Thank you so much, I love Demon Slayer but I am new to fighting games so this was really helpful for strategy and understanding how the mechanics work. I have also been enjoying watching gameplay but I’ve often been scratching my head when they comment about punishing or how x is good neutral, etc etc. So this cleared a lot of that up. Any character with a water fall basin like attack can combo into a grab. So rengoku, tanjiro, urokodaki, giyu, and ither characters with attacks that leave them stunned for a while.

When i play akaza, i realize the “push away into grab” does not work with him, his range always falls really short, so quick tip: don’t try the push then grab with akaza

Great video! As a new player to the game, you did an excellent job explaining things in this. I wish the devs added which moves are plus on block in the move description. Most fighting games have some kind of data. How do you deal with someone that spams Tengens String Performance? That move must be advantageous on block, I couldn't even side-dash out of the way.

Thanks a lot man!! And as for Tenens string performance, it’s a special situation where you need to use the “pushback” and then then last hits of the attack won’t hit you and you can hit him back with normal attacks or armour or smth

is there different characters for the main story? Like i have water tanjiro rn and i want to use hinokami tanjiro and gyutaro for the main story not just training and battles os that possible ?

No you usually just use ware tanjiro in story but sometimes other main characters too, and yeah unfortunately you need to finish story mode to unlock all characters like Hinokami tanjiro
