@@SeanRenzYT Great! Do you know of any good cheaper brands? I know you listed some good options but they're quite pricey, not that they're supposed to be cheap tho lol :p. I wonder, I found a pair of RDX gloves for a reasonable price (imo), are they trustable? They go for, around 40$.
@SeanRenzYT6 ай бұрын
@@heckincat1406 I’m ngl, the gloves are quite expensive. My friend owns a pair of RDX and he never seems to have any issue. Good video man! Informative and to the point. I'm considering some hayabusa gloves for muay thai but I'm concerned that the wrist flexibility isn't very good (i.e. for clinching). What do you guys think?

I have been eyeing up a pair of Top Kings. I noticed something with them though. They offer gloves that distinctively say TKB with smaller top king boxing logo (such as your do), but then other pairs specifically say Muay Thai TOP KING Thailand on them. I'm wondering, do they offer different glove variations? ones that are strictly meant for boxing and others that are meant for muay thai.
@SeanRenzYT7 ай бұрын
That might be the case! After taking a close look, the ones that say Muay Thai Top King on them do look like Muay Thai gloves

I’m 5’11 183 lbs with average sized hands and want to get yokkao cause my Fairtex bgv14s are too roomy on the inside should I get 14oz or 16 oz gloves I do like a snug fit but don’t know if the 16oz will fit snug with wraps on
@SeanRenzYT7 ай бұрын
I tried on my friend’s Fairtex BGV1s (16oz) and they’re honestly a little more snug than my 16oz yokkao. I like yokkao but if you’re looking for more snug fit, I’d say the fairtex BGV1s would do it.

Hello i have some questions: I currently practice Kickboxing, i was thinking of getting 3 pairs of gloves, 1 for bag drills and hard hitting sessions on bags, 1 for sparring with a Partner, and 1 for competitions, like actual fights in my country, im thinking of getting 1 Matrix Yokkao, 1 Thai Fairtex BGV14 and 1 Thai Twins Special BGVL3, wich ones you recomend or think are better for each ocasion and what OZ for each? Thank you very much. I weight 70KG
@aowix8591Ай бұрын
First of all you don’t need 3 pairs of gloves but if you do decide on that bag drills you should go 12-14 oz, sparring you have to get 16 oz and competition kickboxing you’ve got to get 10 oz

Hello, I just started practicing kickboxing so I'm quite confused between choosing hayabusa t3 gloves and topkings gloves, can you give me advice?
@SeanRenzYT4 ай бұрын
Hello! Both are really good for protection. From my experience Hayabusa requires less breaking in compared to top king. Top king gloves require a lot more hours of training for them to really get broken in. If you’re the type to disinfect your gloves after every session and have an extra pair to wear for the next session, then I’d do Hayabusa mainly because of the smell issue. If you just let your gloves air dry, Top king is the better option, it’ll just take some time to break them in 🙏🏽 hope this helps

Since you already have 14oz, I’d get a 16oz so you have something to spar with. We pretty much weigh the same and definitely need at least 1 pair of 16oz. Fairtex or Yokkao, simple designs = fairtex, more fancy = yokkao. Either are good. Fairtex are def cheaper though but same quality.
