Disneyland is better than Magic Kingdom in my opinion. But Disney World is 4 parks. More attractions. More dining options. Just more of everything. But both places are awesome nonetheless!

Take advantage of mobile ordering in DCA with a majority of their food offerings available for mobile orders. Even if the time is too far in advance, hit the refresh button every so often cause people cancel and you’ll find times within 30 minutes.

Was out there for New years and found the Mobile Order at some places (Lucky Fortune Cookery) to be helpful. But .. other places it was faster to just wait in line the 10 mins to order food (Cozy Cone/Mint Julep Bar -MK) versus wait the hour and half listed on the mobile order window.

@@blackknight9558 Hands down DL. Was a WDW passholder for 10 years but cancelled last year due to many bad experiences. We rather fly from FL to CA twice a year to enjoy better Cast experiences, cleanliness, better food, more access to merchandise, and Magic Moments. We walk about 18 miles in two days visiting DL and DCA - my white soles on my tennis shoes stay white at Disneyland. WDW parks are always dirty now. Sad because it wasn’t the case 4-5 years ago. Got the Disney Chase Card to enjoy perks like discounts on merch and restaurant. No interest for 6 months on Park package. So didn’t miss too much cancelling the AP, just the convenience of visiting the parks but even then can only be after 2pm with reservation (didn’t used to be this way). Epcot has too many drunks, Hollywood studios is always over crowded, only great time to visit Animal Kingdom is Jan-Feb, and Magic Kingdom has too many fights during the parades and Fire work shows. So we didn’t use our pass enough in a year to make up what we spend yearly for the pass. On top of still having to buy Genie+ to ride more than 2 rides per visit to make it worth it.

You might miss some things but it is doable, depending on when you go (if school is out or not). I’d recommend getting like Genie+ and even looking at restaurant reservations ahead of time, you might get lucky and find the blue bayou has some openings. Park Vue Inn is right across the street from the opening and offers good rooms at reasonable prices. I hope you have a lovely time.
