You can’t always level up with only the normal NPC’s, you always end up needing a little bit more XP. The solution to this is to also challenge all four weekly guests that appear in the Cat’s Tail, every week. They also give XP, and it’s usually that little bit extra you needed to level up. Hope this helps?

That depends solely on your deck, and your skill of making use of it. The only actual flat benefit of leveling up is being able to buy more different cards from the shop and being able to obtain more character cards from tavern challenges.

the positive feedback about tcg is either paid for shills or crazy people. I've been lvl 1 since it came out, challenged everyone possible in mondstadt. can't buy invite letter until lvl 2... and it generally just is an annoying game

Honestly this game is absolutely crap and annoying! sooooo tedious. Making a deck without it saying 'unplayable cards in deck' wtf!? Like how do I know what I can play.. got cards in there that is useless but it accepts them?? God I hate this mini game so much just want the primos
