Great Video Charlie. I've run a few backtests myself on lumpsum vs DCA vs equity risk premium spread strategy. very hard to beat lump sum, with DCA, and even the optimized equity risk premium strategy which showed me the market was way too expensive, just barely matched the returned of lumpsum over any 10 year period. However, I would argue that behaviourally someone might believe they will lump sum invest, only to pull out after a 30% correct..so from our human wiring, a DCA or another strategy may be best for most people.

So would you say DCA is still better for the average folks because of the behavioral aspect? Just DCA monthly and forget it instead of lump sum and worry about anxiety when the market goes down?
