@@simonsaucy In my experience with oil based hazers for something like a permanent install, you’re looking at a decent build up of residue on equipment and other items. They definitely have their place, I just feel like water based is a much better option all around.
@TheTinkirWorkshop Жыл бұрын
@@simonsaucy Oh I completely understand the goal. We have a 1000 seat auditorium and I’m only running my Radiance at about 30-40% output with no problems keeping that nice thin haze for the beams. The radiance is a touring industry hazer. It’ll put out more haze than most rooms will ever need.
@darrenmoney4130 Жыл бұрын
@@TheTinkirWorkshop Do you run it at 30-40% all service? What fan %? Do you have additional fan? Where is the hazer positioned?
@TheTinkirWorkshop Жыл бұрын
@@darrenmoney4130 I just checked it. I run at 40% for worship only. We’ll usually start it at about 5min left in our countdown to get haze in the room and run it continuously through worship. I have a second preset that bumps it to 60% output, but that’s only if we have to come out of a welcome into worship to get the haze moving quick and then we’ll knock back down to that 40%. The radiance has a built in fan that I run at 100%. It also has power out for an external fan which I also use to help disperse. That a larger Vornado fan I got from Walmart or Target. Hazer is position in my upstage truss hung underneath and the external fan is mounted to the top of the truss blowing air slightly downward into the haze. Never run haze through a fan. It’ll ruin it after a while. I hope this helps.
@darrenmoney4130 Жыл бұрын
@@TheTinkirWorkshop Thanks. We also have a Radiance. We have struggled to get the haze thin and lasting without clouds. It seems to fall out quickly. We might try adding the Vornado fan.

You can use standing trusses with bass plates and just have the lights mounted on the tops. I work for a wedding company and that’s what we set up at every venue. Very easy to set up, I believe I’ve seen Jake do the same in his older lighting videos

When you say a few shades up from black. What examples do you have?
Im a videographer and photographer for my church, and I have the hardest time with colored house lights because when capturing a person worshiping they are super saturated in color. what would be your advice for having great stage lighting but also great lights on congregation to take great photos and videos for social media.
@Churchfront Жыл бұрын
Hey Brett - Long story short: for photo- shoot in raw, not JPEG. For video (assuming you're not talking about live-streaming) - shoot in a LOG or flat profile. You are essentially going to have to go in on your computer and add the coloration and make the photos/videos look the way you want them to. For the photos: the biggest factor in making it all look natural when you go back and fix in post will be to get your white balance as neutral looking as possible when you take the photo. So if the lights turn blue, make it warmer, and vice versa. Once you put those raws on your computer, Adobe Lightroom and Peter McKinnon tutorials will be your friend! - Dylan.

Did not hear what the model was for the house light? It is also not in the catalog.
Does it matter that all the lights are different brands, say if they were all Chauvet MK series it will be easy to color match? Vs having different brands and having to color match when designing?
@BrockMcNeely Жыл бұрын
It will help. In my opinion if you just spend some time on the front end making color presets with all your lights together, it will be super easy to recall those. Then you have the versatility of being able to find the best fixture for your church based on it’s performance and not manufacturer.

Worship is a Concert where the people are on stage and God is Not the focal Point. The Whole Stage presentation, band, light shows, darkness, is not truly Christian- its Idolatry. All you people out there are deluded and are warped by your emotions. Trust me when I say its not Christian, its Pagan idolatry and people are worshipping "worship" not Jesus.
