Really enjoyed this video. My wife and I always get the deluxe bev package and are always willing to try new drinks. My 3 absolute fav’s are Rum punch, Planters punch and the Goombay smash. And in Coco Cay, I like the Coco Loco with Myers dark rum.

I finally got the deluxe package on one of my sailings and now I can’t imagine sailing without it. 100% worth every penny! By the way the Frozen Blue Hawaiian and the Lava Flow with Krackin rum are my two favorite drinks!

😂 it was a harder challenge than I thought it would be, but I hope you found it helpful! We actually did this cruise again in August and found changes to the menu already! That said - I'm still craving a Cozumel Sunrise right now!

Let me see if I still have my spreadsheet - but where I did these was by using the Royal Caribbean app and checking the Dining/Bars & Lounges section for the menus! When we went 6 weeks later, it was a different set of menus!

Question how long is the wait for grabbing a drink?

It honestly depends on a lot of factors. I would say my average time from ordering to drink in hand was 7 minutes at a bar and 15 with a waiter. Doesn't sound like much until you multiply it by 60 drinks we had on the ship - and that was a minimum of 400 minutes just waiting to drink. ☠️ That's why our next cruise we opted to just buy drinks individually and we didn't miss the package at all.

We went on this same cruise 6 weeks later and did not buy it and didn't miss it outside of wine at dinner. If you think you'll drink more than 5 drinks per day, I say pick it up! If you're a slower consumer, just go a la carte!

We actually went on this boat 6 weeks later and the menus had already changed! A lot of the same but many were no longer on the menus and new ones were there! I used the Royal Caribbean app and looked at the bar and lounge menus!

Thanks for the kind words! Drinks were $14 each, $11 for shots, and $8 for canned beers/seltzer. While I will say that it was nice to not have to worry about a bill at the end of the trip because we paid for the package, I don't know that I'll ever get the Deluxe package again. You really have to work to get your money's worth - and if you're not that big of alcohol consumers to begin with, I would totally recommend buying drinks individually and not getting the package.

@@DwightShrute-ow1ww Have a blast! Another tip that might save you a bunch of money is that virgin cocktails are much cheaper than those with alcohol. Maybe order virgin drinks most of the day and then get an adult beverage at dinner and/or the show. That's my plan for the next cruise.

I like to take a Papa Jac, order it with muddle lime instead of lime juice and sweet/sour mix with Patron instead of Rum, makes that tequila deadly lol cant taste it at all and its very refreshing.

Gratuity is already included with the drink package cost. However I always tip at least a dollar per drink and more for those that I befriend from frequent visits.

The recipe is equal parts orange juice, pineapple juice and sweetened lime juice plus your rum and topped with Myers dark rum. If you leave out the pineapple juice you are drinking something else.
