hey just wanted to thank you for posting these tutorials/guides. saroo info out there can be a little sparse so it's super helpful to people like me who are on the fence about getting one (and an actual saturn as well lol)

Thanks for your videos James ad love your birds mate 😃 Just got that Saroo cart and have a full collection however it’s in 7z format.. will 7z work or do I have to extract each folder and make a new folder with bin and cue files.. have you tried a rom in 7z format on Saroo yet? Keep up the good work mate

@@jettsmiles1976 hi, thanks for watching, and cheers yeah the birds are very special 😊. I'm afraid you're going to have to get bin/cue files as 7z don't work with the saroo at mo, maybe down the line with updates it will at some point. Glad you're enjoying the videos and my feathered babies 👍

@@GameZoneBirdroom All sorted James 😃 unzipped the entire lot, followed your prompts, got the Saturn out of the shipping container and first time powering it on in 20+ years!!! Turned on straight away and without a problem all systems go 😃 I’m AMAZED with the loading times hey. It’s ridiculous!!! THANKS MATE

@@jettsmiles1976 that's awesome news, glad it all fired up ok and everything working if sonic world in sonic Jam is unplayable with graphical issues use this code in the config file # Sonic Jam [ MK81079-50 V1.00] play_relay = 1000 sector_delay = 2000

Great video. I just ordered my Saroo also. I was wondering what do I do with the 3 asset files? Do I install them on the SD card also?

Just add them to the existing Saroo folder and windows will ask if you like to replace them and say yes. You're all updated with the latest firmware 👍

I plan on separating the games in English and Japanese categories. Wondering if Sub-categories within the folders are possible, for genres.

So far you can only categories up to 12 folders on main page. They may introduce this in later firmware/updates tho where you can have sub folders

No idea buddy, I'm pretty sure it works with 512GB which I think is full library of the Saturn

Under global in the config file your probably see this: [global] lang_id = 0 change the the zero to a 1 so it looks like this global] lang_id = 1
